This page is to keep everyone up to date on Jake's softball tournament and to save all our memories!
The Jacob Bendel Memorial Softball Tournament is an annual event held in memory of Jacob William Bendel. Jacob passed away in July of 2005 from myocarditis at the age of 12. This tournament is our way of keeping his memory alive, while raising funds for the community. Through the years, we have raised money for scholarships, educational programs, and children with illnesses.
This years tournament will be on Saturday August 8th . I will be reaching out to the teams in the next few weeks. We are looking for a team for the big field if anyone is interested please message me.

Year #19 is in the books. Thank you to all the players, umpires, volunteers and spectators that came out on this 200* day to help raise money for the Jacob Bendel Memorial Fund and more importantly help us celebrate his memory. Congratulations to team VICE & TORQED UP for winning this years brackets. A repeat of last year for both fields, who wil give them a run for their money next year 🥎. See you all next summer!

Today is the day 🙂 weather will be hot but sunny ☀️. Come on out to watch some fun softball games, eat some delicious pulled pork, walking tacos, or pepperoni rolls from the concession stand , and test your luck on one of our 40+ baskets up for raffle ! For 19

This years tournament will be held on August 16th at the Mount Vernon EFYAA fiekds. The tournament is a double elimination tournament. With the change in date this year we are in need of a new team on the competitive field. If you would be interested please contact Sarah at 4124452514.

We are coming up on our 19th annual memorial softball tournament. It’s a little later then normal this year due to a recent family addition, as Jacobs niece Rosemary was born just a few weeks ago.
She is excited to come celebrate her uncles life next month.
Anyone that would like to donate to our concession stand or basket raffle please contact me as we would GREATLY appreciate any assistance this year.

This Thursday (May 8 ) is the last day to apply for the JWB Memorial scholarship. If you know any seniors at EF high school encourage them to apply! Application with the guidance office.
