Wrapped up our 2025 hardscape season with a Versa‑Lok retaining wall and boulder install in Baldwin Twp., PA. The new Cliffside block with Anthracite cap color blends turned out incredible. The homeowner wanted to explore boulders and a different style of river rock, so we took a trip out to The Barn Landscape Supply to hand‑select from their huge inventory. Winter hit that Monday night we finished, so we’ll be back in spring for the final touches of topsoil and seeding.

The lawn had a lot of heat stress from July into August. Now it looks like its spring again! We still have plenty of time to seed before the winter season starts.

Installed the CourtYard aluminum fencing and gate sections at the Keystone wall job from few weeks ago in Scott Twp. Cobra, they're Greyhound will be happy to roam in another week or so when the grass has fully established. Planted some Evergreen shrubs out front. Wasn't too happy to remove that Japanese Maple tree but we couldn't salvage it. Replaced with Juniper Hetzii trees, PJM Rhododendron, Garden Junipers, grasses and Lirope's

Much needed downsizing the landscape of unnecessarily large beds in Upper St. Clair, PA. We re-installed the Belgium block border edge around the large trees. Dug up the bland old river rock edge, installed a Belgium block border to the right side. Trimmed the shrubs up and spread some mulch!
Construction around back, so topsoiled and seeded all the bare spots, regrading all around the home. Added a trash can pad.

Completion with excellence on this Keystone Compac III sandstone brown retaining wall. Set the wall back an extra 4 feet. Re-graded the upper hill, added some radius on both ends extending the lawn and the step downs combined 👌. Make sure you check out the before pictures he found (while looking for the property survey for the permit!) from when the original wall was built about 30 years ago! Scott Township, Pa.

Barely had a backyard for the kids. Mostly an oversized sloped hill into a swale for water run-off. Had 30 tons of clean fill delivered to grade and raised up to level. Scraped up the weeds and grass that was left. Spread a nice inch layer of top soil and installed a fresh new sod INSTANT lawn in The Virginia Manor, Mt. Lebanon, Pa 15243. Dug out about 15 or so of old withering shrubs, salvaging what plants were left to open up the landscape. Planted some new PJM and Cunnigham Rhododendrons.
