We're hitting the road again! 🚘💨

Today we're heading to Claysburg, PA to hang out with Tanner and the crew at Cove Co****le!

Cove has been doing their thing for a while, but they've recently added ACL Local events to the mix, and we're excited to get out there, show some support, and throw some bags with their crew!

For us, this is what it's all about. Getting out into the co****le community, connecting with players and directors, supporting the clubs putting in the work, and having a damn good time along the way.

The draft is over. The roster is set. And the countdown is officially ON. ⏳

In just ONE WEEK, these 18 players will suit up and represent TEAM BLACK TIE at the 2026 Co****le Kai Hallow Cup! 🏆

From ACL Pros and seasoned veterans to rising talent and familiar faces, Captain Ryan Kosylo assembled a crew that’s ready to bring some serious competition, a little chaos, and a whole lot of Black Tie energy to the boards. 🔥

And those Halloween Cup Jerseys are TO DIE FOR. 😈🎩

But here’s the question…

🎭🏆 ACT IX: THE COMEBACK OF THE SEASON?!

The curtain has closed on another Black Tie at the Opera, and Act IX delivered a championship finish we won't soon forget!

This month's Tandem Doubles format brought some great competition to the Harmony Opera House, but the real fireworks came in the championship.

🥇 1st Place: ACL Pro Lucas Householder & Matthew Edwards

🥈 2nd Place: Terry Ball III & Aubrie Knight

Lucas and Matthew were perfect through two rounds of Rounders and the winners bracket, earning the King Seat and waiting for their championship opponents.

Enter the Rooster and Aubrie Knight.

Terry and Aubrie came out swinging, taking a nail-biter in the first championship game 21-19 to force a winner-take-all finale.

And then things got interesting. 👀

Terry and Aubrie jumped out to a commanding 19-4 lead in Game 2. With the championship seemingly slipping away, Lucas and Matthew started chipping away at the deficit, one round at a time.

Matthew kept battling, Lucas was cleaning up EVERYTHING left on the board, and suddenly the impossible started looking possible.

From down 19-4 to winning 21-20. 🤯

A 17-1 run to complete the comeback, defend the King Seat, and claim the Act IX championship!

An incredible battle between two teams who refused to quit. Huge respect to Terry and Aubrie for an outstanding performance and one heck of a championship series!

🎯 LAST MAN STANDING AIRMAIL CHALLENGE

Rooster wasn't leaving empty-handed! Terry survived four rounds of the Airmail Challenge to take home the $65 prize! 💰

🏆 CO****LE FOR THE PARK | TOURNAMENT RECAP 🎯

Beautiful weather, great competition, and an even better cause! ☀️

A couple of weeks ago, 24 players joined us for our Co****le for the Park Benefit, supporting Zelienople Community Park!

We couldn't have asked for a better day to throw some bags, although Mother Nature made sure it wasn't TOO easy! 😂

With a little wind and a slight slope to contend with, we decided to stick with PPR scoring despite being outdoors. Let's just say the conditions added another layer of challenge!

🏆 YOUR PODIUM FINISHERS

🥇 Ryan Kosylo & Siggy LaRocca — An undefeated run through the bracket, capped off by a Finals victory over a tough team!

🥈 ACL Pro Chuckie Love & Jackie Moon — A strong performance that earned them the runner-up spot!

🥉 Tanner Zimmerman & Don Reid — Rounding out the podium and taking home third place!

🔥 HIGH PPR HONORS

Despite the outdoor conditions, ACL Pro Logan Burkett led the field in PPR throughout the tournament, finishing with an impressive 8.84! That's some seriously consistent throwing when the elements aren't exactly cooperating!

But beyond the competition, this event was about something bigger than co****le.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, competed, supported the event, and helped us give back to Zelienople Community Park. We love seeing this community come together for a good cause.

🏆 HOW COOL ARE THESE?! 🤩

When we started planning our ACL Kickoff, we wanted to do something a little different for our champions.

So we teamed up with the Seneca Valley High School Robotics Class to bring these custom wooden trophies to life!

And WOW, did they deliver! 🔥

These aren’t just trophies. They’re a chance to showcase the talent and creativity of students right here in our community while giving our players something pretty awesome to take home.

A HUGE thank you to the students and everyone involved at Seneca Valley for partnering with us on this project. We absolutely love how these turned out! 👏

Players across Western PA are getting out, supporting local events, competing, and getting an early jump on the season. That’s exactly the kind of energy we love to see! 👏

🎩 BLACK TIE IS ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Last week was a little crazy. This week we’re slowing it down… a little. 😂

Tonight we’re heading out to 1821 Co****le to throw some bags, hang out, and spend some time with another part of the co****le community.

One of our goals this season is simply to get out there. Visit different clubs. Meet players we don’t normally get to see. Throw some bags together. Listen. Learn. And keep building connections throughout the region.

Last week gave us a pretty good head start — but we’re definitely not done.
