🎃 We're celebrating Halloween this year with a free bike light & helmet giveaway in Sheraden
..because riding without lights is scary!

Saturday, October 31st, 2026
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (while supplies last)
📍 Kiwanis Korner in Sheraden - 640 Hillsboro St, Pittsburgh, PA 15204

--
Since 2011, Bike Pittsburgh has given away hundreds of free bike lights and bike helmets with our Operation Illumination program. To prepare for riding as the days get shorter, we’re hosting our last light and helmet giveaway event of the year at the Kiwanis Korner in Sheraden in tandem with their Sheraden Spooktacular event!

BikePGH cares about riders’ safety and education, and this is one of the most direct ways to provide that assistance. Last year we gave out over five hundred free bike lights and over two hundred helmets at events across Pittsburgh.

This year’s Operation Illumination season made possible with generous support from United States Steel Corporation
