Told myself there's no pressure to take pics this AM.....

But here we are.

⚠️I think it's mentally healthy to see your own body shift in this process. ⚠️

I used to beat myself up the morning after show. That night I'd eat a celebratory meal and feel so guilty and self conscious the next day.

But now I take it as info....to learn from! In my head of course I feel like a water buffalo. This was 7am today with over 2.5L of water in me already. Not to mention wayyyy more macros yesterday than a normal day in prep. So it's only normal to have those feelings. But seeing myself in these pics is my way of looking from the outside in and getting out of my own head. Yes I'm up like 4-5lbs than yesterday, but um hello I'M REHYDRATING MY DEPLETED BODY YOU IDIOT, EMILY. 🤣

This sport can be soooo hard on the mind and self-body image, but if you take a step back and recognize those feelings, allow yourself to feel them, then assess and digest them accordingly.

The water will work itself off as I keep fluids high the next couple days. And my tummy and heart were replenished with good food and company....memories ❤

This sport only destroys the mind if you let it.

Be strong. Remember your goals. ALWAYS remember the bigger picture.

What a wonderful show!!! Always have a blast at Tim Garnder shows! He runs everything so smooth and makes sure all athletes are taken care of and we have fun no matter what. Always a pleasure and amazing experience and this one was just that!

Coach is super happy with what we brought to this stage, and after all, saying it was your best package to date is pretty neat. 😊

Appreciative.....but never satisfied. Still a brat. Always a brat. Lol.
