🏁 Bill Hendren Memorial – RUSH Late Model Series

We qualified 7th in Group A, which lined us up 3rd in our heat race. We were able to hold our spot and bring it home 3rd, putting us straight into the feature.

For the feature, we rolled off 13th and had a solid car, working our way up to 9th. A late-race restart put us on the outside, where we lost a couple spots and ultimately crossed the line 11th. Still a solid result with 58 cars signed in for this event!

Tri City Raceway Park recap:

Solid night with speed, just didn’t get the finish we wanted.

Qualified 3rd overall and went on to win the heat race, which put us into the dash. Pulled the 6 spot out of 6 for the dash and finished 6th, lining us up 6th for the feature.

Unfortunately, the outside wasn’t the place to be on the initial start and we fell back to 8th. We were able to work our way back up to 6th and rode there for most of the race. A last-lap restart didn’t go our way and we ended up crossing the line 8th.

Definitely had a better car than the finish shows. We’ll take the speed, learn from it, and keep digging. Thanks to everyone who helps make this possible and everyone who continues to support the 56 team! 🏁
