Come to our Vegan Hawaiian Pop Up July 31 at Helltown Taproom Strip District, as it will be our last event there. Super sad to share, they are closing this location! We love them!

After many memorable years serving the Strip District community, Helltown Brewing has made the difficult decision to close its taproom at 1700 Penn Avenue, with our final day of service scheduled for August 30, 2026.

The property that has been home to our Strip District location is expected to be redeveloped by its ownership into a new residential project, bringing this chapter of our history to a close.

While saying goodbye to this location is bittersweet, Helltown Brewing remains
commited to brewing exceptional beer and serving customers throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our brewery operations continue, our beers will remain available through our distribution partners, and we look forward to welcoming guests at our remaining taprooms.

We are incredibly grateful to our employees, loyal customers, musicians, vendors, neighbors, and the entire Strip District community who made this location such a special place over the years. The friendships and memories created here will always be part of Helltown's story.

We invite everyone to join us throughout August as we celebrate the people and moments that made 1700 Penn Avenue more than just a taproom—it became a gathering place.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to raising a glass with you before we close this chapter and begin the next. Keep your eyes open as we look to settle into another Pittsburgh location. We will continue to provide live entertainment until we close and we invite you to join us Sunday August 2nd from 1-4PM for our 15 Year Anniversary and a special tribute to Jerry Garcia from Reuben's Painted Mandolin.
