Wrapped up our fall season and wow!! Our athletes were amazing and improved every single week. See their skills on display during our end of the season scrimmage and our new favorite game: Red light, green light, spin. Our volunteers were equally amazing - directly supporting skill development and cheering their teammates every step of the way. Thank you all for being a part of the Bridges team 💜 We hope to see you all back in 2027!

Red light, green light, spin move at practice today - check out our evolving skills! We also scrimmaged for the first time this season and learned how to position ourselves on the field. So proud of the growth of this team week to week 🫶💪🏻💜

Second practice of the fall in the books ✔️✔️ Working on our ball control with one of our favorite drills: knock out and 3v2s as we start to build up our game play skills. We love our Bridges athletes, volunteers, and coaches 💜💜

Kicked off our fall season today with new and returning athletes! Shout out to all our volunteers and athletes - everyone was AWESOME. Today we worked on how to hold the stick, dribble, pass, and stop the ball. We also scored a lot of goals. So happy to be back on the field with our team 💜💜

🏑 Welcome back to our How To Series!

For our final series post, we’re talking about two skills that are just as important as what you do with your stick: sportsmanship and teamwork! 🤝💜 Being a great teammate means encouraging others, communicating on the field, celebrating each other’s successes, and always showing respect for your teammates and opponents.

Want to put these skills into practice? Registration for our Fall Bridges sessions is now open. Visit the link in our bio to sign up! 🙌🏑💜

🏑 Welcome back to our How-To Series!

For one of our last skills, we’re focusing on the block tackle—one of the most important defensive skills in field hockey! A block tackle helps you stop your opponent, stay in control, and defend safely without reaching or swinging your stick. Learning the proper technique will help you become a stronger, more confident defender every time you step onto the field!

Ready to practice these skills in person? 💜 Registration for our Fall Bridges Adaptive Field Hockey sessions is now open! Click the link in our bio to sign up. We can’t wait to see you on the field! 🙌
