Still buzzing from the first night of the Outer Fringe Music Series at the historic Prospector in Placerville! What an unforgettable kickoff to a project so near and dear to my heart. This series has been a dream of mine for years - a way to bring the most unusual, inspired, and genre-defiant musicians to the Foothills of El Dorado County. The kind of artists who create honestly and live loudly - the kind of people who have saved my life more times than I can count. Huge love and gratitude to our incredible headliners and dear friends Black Knight Satellite, the wildly creative KinkBug all the way from Berkeley, and of course, how could we not shine a light on our own local gem, Jazzé - you all brought the house down! It was well-attended, it was deeply special, and it felt like the start of something powerful for this community. Thank you to everyone who came, danced, listened, supported, and made night one so magical. This is only the beginning.
