Labor Day around here has been spent...LABORING! 🤣 Tom expanded his foul vocabulary by logging some electrical hours on the shop lights and Kennedy ended her multitude of tasks in the chicken coop with crabby pants WATCHING her the whole time!

Now to get ready for a big ole brisket dinner with the whole family!😊

Flipping the kart from race to race on our local circuit is a repetitious, but necessary task! Cleaning & lubing EVERYTHING you can imagine and doing preventative maintenance.

Many don't realize these distant tracks use an ENTIRELY different motor with the same chassis....Clone vs LO206. So both prepping for and flipping back for home tracks is a whole other task that Kennedy's pit boss does not look forward to!🤣 We love and appreciate all your knowledge and wrenching to keep ROLLIN'!

Yesterday at Thunder Hill Speedway taught more lessons than my thumbs and mind can even keep up with! Each moment was about decisions and REACTIONS!

The 1/6 mile banked fish bowl is one of the neatest tracks we have had the opportunity to race and needed to be on our A game each and every time we got on the grid as it changed QUICK! Our goal was to not finish last in the 3 features (which had some AMAZING competition with AJC Mid America Series) and Kennedy NAILED it! The last feature was heartbreaking to say the least. She was racing STRONG in 6th and each lap gaining on the 2 karts BATTLING 4th/5th. She finally had an opportunity and NAILED the pass, gaining HER the 4th place spot. Coming around turns 3/4 flag men were prepping caution flags for when the leader crossed the line and she thought they pointed her off the track 🤦‍♀️😭 They did officially give her 6th place back and she learned a VALUABLE lesson that I can only hope will never happen again!

As a passenger princess, I am browsing our race notebook we keep in the truck and I am in absolute awe of Kennedy's accomplishments. Here are a few stats that put her 2026 season thus far into perspective:
🟠 36 Feature races at 4 different tracks
🔵 5 Feature WINS!!!🏁🏁
🟠 27 Top 5 finishes
🔵 22 Heat WINS!!🏁🏁

All in her 1st full year of racing and moving up a class! STILL more to come!😁🏁 Thank you so much to all of our race families and fans that cheer us on each week!
