My little monster!! I asked you to be my girlfriend on June 23rd, 2014! Now here I am, June 23rd, 2023 (9 years later) asking you to be my wife! I was a nervous wreck, it was definitely the most important moment of my life thus far. I love you more than you’ll ever truly know. I’ll take on this entire world for you. We fought for this, we’ve put in the work and we will continue to put in the work. It hasn’t always been easy but we chose each other every single day! In this exact moment, I fell in love with you all over again!! I’ll forever love you in this life and hopefully I can continue this in the next!! ♾️💍

I had the privilege of meeting and working with a new client who was so eager to hit the ground running during our assessment. We selected a few leg movements and wanted to be precise on details along with form.

1️⃣Kneeling leg curl: This movement isolates our hamstrings which makes the routine itself much more difficult. This movement is all about having control over the weight, allowing a slow and controlled drop to the bottom of the movement while pausing and keeping the tension at the top of the movement.

2️⃣Belt machine Squat: This routine allows for you to perfect the barbell squat form while taking the load off your lower back. This is great for quads/glutes/hamstrings when performed CORRECTLY. Leaning forward while having a slight hip hinge allows this movement to be more glute focused. The key is to pause at the bottom of the and to slowly rise into the top of the routine. The deeper the squat the deeper the stretch. If you’re looking to build a b***y, this needs to be in your routine. 🍑

3️⃣Bulgarian Split Squat: Operating with a slight hip hinge we focus heavy on glutes/quads. The goal with this movement is CONTROL. We want to drop deep into the movement while pressing through our heels. If your looking for a good pump, you can’t go wrong with this movement.

One of my greatest client stories!

I met Connor about a year ago who was on a weight loss journey. He had a goal to join the Navy but needed to lose close to 50lbs in order for him to meet his weight requirement.

I saw Connor twice a week for almost a year. I even called a close friend who’s been in the Navy for over 15 years to see what to expect out of his basic training test to create a program that would allow Connor to meet his goal.

We worked heavy on building muscle while testing his endurance. We added in movements that would be similar to what he would experience during his testing.

Needless to say Connor met his goal and lost over 50lbs but he also made it through basic training and is now a member of the United States Navy!
