Making healthy food choices is just part of the equation. Just because it's healthy doesn't mean you can eat as much as you want! This is probably enough food for three meals! Ask for a To-Go-Box, leave a single serving on your plate and pack the rest away so you're not tempted to over do it!

It doesn't matter what type you choose, almost every type of nut has a lot of nutrition packed into a tiny package.Eating nuts may reduce your risk of heart disease, developing blood clots that can cause a fatal heart attack. Nuts also appear to improve the health of the lining of your arteries.

I don't snack often 'cause snacking leads to weight gain! If you're hungry between meals you might not be esting enough fat. Good healthy fats leave you feeling fuller longer and knock those carb cravings right out. Easy does it though! 1/4C cashews = 8 carbs and a good dose of healthy fat and protein.

I'm an emotional eater. It's a common problem. Keeping it in check starts with awareness. Taste those negative habits for healthier ones. Drink a big glass of water, take a walk or get your workout in, call a friend, read a book...Change your thoughts and change your life.
