A quick little cleanup on a Type 19 Stanley No 3 plane. My manager gifted me this rusty thing so I stripped it in Evapo Rust and went to work. Took all that nasty dye off the k**b and found Rosewood hiding! Edge honed to 6000 and taking fine shavings now!

I know it’s been a while since I posted any “woodworking” content so I want you to know I didn’t go anywhere. Here is the latest, all-walnut cutting board soaking up the late afternoon sunshine! Measuring 16x14 and a nice juice gutter, this thing was ordered to be used on both surfaces- so NO handles! Now it’s off living it’s best life in Arizona 🌄

Behold!! My latest walnut end grain cutting board measuring 24x16 📐
If you look 👀 closely, there is a small pour spout in one of the corners in the juice gutter. The grain gave off this woven, rope-like effect and I truly loved the way it turned out. 📦Headed to Melbourne, FL
