TONIGHT'S GAMES - 2- SEMI-FINAL GAMES- YMCA OVAL
COURT 1 A
7:00 pm - #1 COURT QUEENS vs #4 AIRBALL VETERANS
The # 1 Seed Court Queens Won the Regular Season with a Record of 6 and 2 and Swept the Airball Veterans this Season in all of the Regular Season Battles. But the Airball Veterans played Some of their Best Basketball this Season last Night in getting their 1st win of the Season over Throwback Squad. Court Queens is led by their big 3 With Katrina Lee who averages 11.9 ppg, Taylor Saltus who averages 10.1 ppg and Brenna Ducatte who averages 8.4 ppg. Court Queens also has a huge supporting Cast, that helps with their Strong Defensive Efforts night in and night out and they hit the Boards hard, Amy Williams and Megan Verkey lead them In the Paint. Airball Veterans is coming off their best shooting night this season with Molly Dennis who can knock down the 3 ball and Shauna Depo. Brooklyn Douglass, Layla Lincoln have also had great seasons and offer some scoring help for Airball Veterans. They kick off the Inaugural YMCA Womens playoffs tonight at 7 pm at the YMCA OVAL in the 1st of 2 Semi-Final Games.
COURT 1 A
8:00 pm - #2 MS PRECISION PAINTING vs #3 THROWBACK SQUAD
The # 2 Seed MS Precision Painting is Coming off A Big Win Last Night in the Regular Season Finale vs Court Queens, it was the 2nd time they knocked off the Regular Season Champs. They are riding the Hot Scoring Hands of Bailee LaFountain who finished the Regular Season with A League Leading 14.4 PPG and not to Far Behind who can do damage inside and in the Mid-Range Courtney Farbotko who finished with an average of 11.9 PPG. They also offer a very Strong supporting cast who can defend and Rebound, in Rachel Chapman, Marlie Sample and the rest of the Squad. Throwback Squad had a great Regular Season and has beaten MS Precision in the Regular Season. Although TS is dealing with a big injury to Captain Jenna Drollette, they still have some long range Bombers who can knock down the 3 with Cora Long, Raven. They Play hard Defense and Share the Ball, they are led by Katie Remillard, Nikki Bennett and Kara Stark-Elliott. The Rest of the TS squad chips in night in and night out. This has the making of a Great Semi-Final Game # 2. Best of luck to Both Teams.
