There will NOT be Calleva adventure race in 2019 due to the lack of race director and team that can put it together. Calleva is looking for a new race director, preferably a local adventure racer. Our old team had retired, but team members are here and are ready to help in transition. If you are interested, please send an email with a short resume to [email protected].

Great race today folks! The weather was beautiful, the course was hard, and the racers were AWESOME! Love to see many familiar faces and also the brand new ones! Hope you all got to revisit some old memories and make some new ones today. Adeventure racing stories last a long time!

Posting the category winners tonight and we'll get the full details out tomorrow, though it might be "tomorrow" like some of our racers finished today, just a little bit tardy but with lots of enthusiasm...!

Super Son And Dynamo Dad USMES are the first team off the Chrysalis O-course.

9 of 30 expert teams cleared the Paddle course! Hope they have enough gas to get to the finish after a tough o-course!

Based on preliminary review of passports, 10 of 24 sport teams look like they cleared the O-course

All Experts are off the water and either in the o-course or made it to bikes. At least one team elected to skip paddling entirely! This course will be tough and decsionmaking is critical!

All Chrysalis racers are currently on the O-course looking for up to 16 points in Blockhouse Conservation Area. Some of those racers have little legs but they are definitely TOUGH!

All sports are out of the woods (off the O-course) and paddling now!

Chrysalis started at 11:00 and racers headed in all different directions. 6 have yet to paddle and all bikes are out on the course.

Hey Team Calleva Friends! We're excited to announce the date for our 2017 Calleva Adventure Race: Sunday, August 6, 2017.

Since it worked so well last year, we're going to once again be offering 3 race options. EXPERT (6-10 hr), SPORT (3-6 hr) and CHRYSALIS (2-4 hr). This should accommodate everyone from you hardcore adventure racers to families and people who want to try out adventure racing for the first time (and everyone in between!).

So mark your calendars, make sure you follow us, and get outside and move!
