PCHS Pirate Athletics Pirate Athletics is committed to being an important part of the overall educational experience at Port Charlotte High School.

Pirate Athletics unites the school and community, creating positive and memorable experiences through the perseverance, sportsmanship, and effort of our student athletes and coaches. With this in mind, PCHS provides the opportunity of participating in several programs that are intended to foster competition, camaraderie, dedication, and respect for others. We believe these virtues will serve as a foundation for each student athlete's personal growth by providing life-long learning experiences through athletic competition.

Thursday's JV football game has been changed to away on Wednesday - we are at Sarasota Riverview.

On Saturday 9/12, the Boys and Girls Cross Country raced at the Kelly Road Soccer Complex, hosted by Fort Myers High School. Despite heavy humidity, every single runner pushed through and ran their race.

Daryl Burney continued leading the boys team as the top varsity runner.

Newcomer Landon Russell ran his first cross country race ever, with a time of 25:39 !

Freshman Issabella Peralta also delivered a fantastic race, running her second race of the season and the only girl to PR this week !

Their next meet will be Saturday 9/19 hosted by North Port High School @ Herron Creek Middle School.
