We choreograph to make our students shine ….not ourselves ❤️

Choreographer?
Not one who determines who they will use in their choreography solely based on a set of tricks the dancer can do.
A true choreographer doesn’t need a zillion tricks. They’re thinking unique in movement, costuming and music. They’re thinking about what the dancers bring to the choreography. They’re thinking about the storyline to their work; the emotion(s) they need to express.
That dancer who can’t do five pirouettes CAN be in the choreography because the choreographer needs her spirit, passion and love for dance more than he needs to toss in five pirouettes. Enjoy the journey--Rhee
