"I'm not finished, and I never will be - these are lifelong changes. My daily routine is completely different because of them. Most importantly, these changes have allowed me to no longer depend on certain medications that once helped with anxiety and depression. Those have now been replaced by movement, strength, and better nutrition.
In my current weight loss journey, I have lost just over 60 pounds. I feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally since committing to daily habit changes.
Brett has played a huge role in my success by educating me on nutrition through his Back to School class. It completely reshaped how I look at food and what I put into my body.
Nutritional literacy was something | lacked before, and now l finally understand how to fuel myself properly. Along with eating better, I've made major lifestyle changes.
Walking 10,000 steps a day is now a non-negotiable in my routine, along with strength training 4-5 times per week. I started by simply walking every day, and as the weight came off, I was able to slowly push myself to do more physically."
