Let's talk about art fees because there seems to be some confusion.

When you request a custom design, you're not just asking for a "quick mockup." You're asking someone to spend hours concepting, designing, revising, and preparing artwork that can actually be produced correctly. That time has value.
Spending 2-3 hours creating something for someone who then says, "I love it, but I'm still shopping around" is exactly why art fees exist.

Also, images generated by ChatGPT do not count as finished artwork. Those images still have to be fully recreated by our graphic designers into proper production-ready files. If you don't have a vector file, the artwork must be rebuilt - and yes, that comes with a fee. If you're unsure what a vector file is, it's safe to assume you don't already have one.

Moving forward, we are no longer being lenient with art fees. We keep getting burned.

And one last thing. Paying an art fee does not mean you're purchasing artwork to take to another vendor.

You're paying for my designer's time spent doing the work specifically for your order.

This isn't personal. It's business.

And time is the one thing we don't have extra of.
