Only 17 days till kick off! Not only have we been busy planning, but we're also busy reminiscing about Dad...

A classic Richard Silverman story: One day our father was in need of a car to run a quick errand. He decided to ask his best friend, Steve Greenberg, if he could borrow his car for an hour or two. Steve agreed, and after completing the errand, Richard found himself cruising back to Steve's apartment, enjoying the spectacular sound system in Steve's car. Richard handed over the keys to Steve, and complemented him on this amazing sound system. To Richard's surprise, Steve had no idea what he was talking about! "What sound system?" he exclaimed. Richard had in fact, stolen a car that was the exact make and model as the one belonging to his good friend Steve. Back in those days, before remote car keys, and anti-theft security systems, keys belonging to cars of identical make and model, were more likely to be similar. Steve and Richard hurriedly drove the stolen car back to the street where he'd found it and quickly replaced it for Steve's actual car. This was our father's brief stint into grand theft auto, and was one of his many adventurous stories that our family came to love and that we will never forget.

Stay tuned for more as we approach kick off!!
