As the Umpire-in-Chief of Port St. Lucie National Little League, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank a truly special group of people.
To our district umpires, junior umpires, coaches who stepped up to umpire, and my fellow board members who willingly filled umpire slots throughout the season—thank you.
Because of your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to our players, we were able to provide a minimum of two umpires on virtually every game throughout the entire season. That is no small accomplishment. It takes countless hours, long evenings, flexibility, and a genuine love for the game and the children we serve.
The reality is that much of what you do happens behind the scenes. The preparation, the scheduling adjustments, the last-minute calls, the willingness to say “yes” when we needed help most—these things often go unnoticed and unthanked. Today, I want to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Please know how deeply grateful I am, and how grateful our entire league is for everything you’ve done. Without your help, your tireless dedication, and your willingness to serve the kids at our park, we would not be half the organization we are today.
You have helped create a positive, fair, and instructional environment for our players, and your impact reaches far beyond the field. You are an essential part of what makes Port St. Lucie National Little League special.
While I only wish there were more we could do to properly repay you for all that you give, I hope you know how much you are appreciated.
Thank you again for joining us for our end-of-season Umpire Dinner and for everything you’ve done throughout the year.
To all of you—we lift a glass.
Cheers, and thank you for making this season such a success.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend… it’s a time to reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifice of those who gave everything for our freedom.
From our PSL National family, we thank those who served, those who continue to serve, and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their legacy and bravery will never be forgotten.
