Introducing Peter & Shannon!

This husband and wife duo is tackling pickleball coaching together!

Peter and Shannon were previously tennis player and currently play in various pickleball leagues and tournaments - you can find them on the courts during open play sometimes, too! They enjoy getting on the courts with their son, Andrew.

Peter began playing pickleball about 3 years ago . He currently plays at the 3.5-4.0 level and is PPR certified as an associate coach.

Shannon made the switch to pickleball last summer and is now playing at the 3.0-3.5 level. She is PPR certified as a recreational coach.

Peter and Shannon tag-team beginner and lower-intermediate level clinics. They also lead our Junior Clinics! Join them on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday - you won't regret it!

Introducing Brett!

Brett is a PCI certified pickleball trainer looking to help players get from frustrated beginners to confident competitors using a fun approach.

Brett is also a physical education teacher and has coached a variety of sports at youth through high school levels.

“I really enjoy being around people that want to embark or continue their pickleball journeys.”

Join Brett for some Beginner Series Clinics, Skills and Drills Sessions, or Small Group Clinics on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays!

Introducing Nate!

Nate is a PCI certified pickleball instructor who has been leading lessons and clinics in Michigan and Florida for the past three years. Nate is rated as a 5.0 player and is certified as a skills rater.

If you are curious about your skill level, or looking to book a private lesson or join a clinic, Nate is here for just that!

Nate is currently leading two clinics per week at PickleRage - Portage:
Fast Hands/Mastering the Non-Volley Zone is held on Wednesdays from 9-10AM, followed by Soft Hands/ Mastering the Transition Zone for 10-11AM on Wednesdays. Registration is required.

Our Guided Round Robins are designed for newer and lower-level players looking to gain confidence and experience in a fun, competitive environment. Whether you're working on strategy, learning court positioning, or just getting comfortable with match play, this is the perfect place to start! Each session is limited to 5 players, so grab your spot now!

✅ Still learning the rules or how to keep score? You're welcome!
✅ Not recommended for players who are completely brand new to pickleball

If you're brand new to the game, we recommend attending one of our FREE Intro to Pickleball Clinics first.
