✨ GETTING READY✨
schacht & I stayed together with Cameron at the inn the night before the wedding (a little taboo I know 😏 but nothing felt more right for us) so we had a nice moment together in the morning before he took off to go the gym (obvs lol) and I went to hair and makeup with the girls.

The girls and I got ready in the “getting ready suite” and I gifted them robes and slippers to get ready in.

My niece Kayli and I snuck away to do some yoga and meditate together which was really sweet since I’ve been doing yoga with her since she was 3, my maids of honor helped me transfer my vows to the book, and we just enjoyed the morning together getting beautified. Love these ladies so much 🤍

Half way through getting my hair done and already behind schedule Cameron had a MELT DOWN so I snuck away to a private room to nurse him and snuggle 🤍 then he was happy as could be for the rest of the day!

The guys got ready in a room at the Inn (we had all the rooms rented with bridal party and family). Joe gifted all the guys Jordans and matching ties/socks from and they waited in front of the AC until the girls were finally ready. 🥵

Here’s the thing about our 🧠👇🏼

[share this post with a friend who has big goals to hold each other accountable]

✔️it’s literally wired to avoid change

✔️ it views hard work as a threat

✔️it defaults to what feels “normal”

✔️it’s wired to prioritize survival over happiness

✔️it puts more significance on risk than reward

so it’s actually not your fault if you are constantly pulled to the easier/safer option

The problem though is that puts us in a reactive state of living rather than a proactive

And in reactivity we are living by default and putting out fires as they arise, not reaching our fullest potential in life or our deepest level of happiness

In the proactive state we are able to live by design and create the life WE TRULY DESIRE

not just surviving but THRIVING and curating a life that looks like our dreams

But that can feel really fu***ng hard

Choosing the easier option is the norm, but you’re not the norm 🤍

✨So put yourself in rooms with other people who are doing the hard things and proving it can be done AND it’s better on the other side

✨Keep doing the hard things and you’ll build confidence to do more hard things and assurance that no matter what you’ll be ok
