First Practice: Monday, June 22nd

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Cross country is about much more than running miles. It is about building confidence, developing mental toughness, creating lasting friendships, and becoming part of a team that supports one another through every challenge and every success.
You do not need experience to join. You do not need to be fast. You simply need to be willing to show up, work hard, and give your best effort. Every great runner started exactly where you are now.
If you're looking to improve your fitness, challenge yourself, make new friends, and be part of a positive team culture, we invite you to come out and see what Parkrose Cross Country all is about.
This summer, take the first step.
We can't wait to see you on June 22nd!
Cross country isn't about where you start—it's about where you're willing to go.
Come take the first step with us.

Last Minute Volunteer Call
Friday, May 8th
vs. Rex Putnam & Milwaukie
Senior Recognition Night
* Helps meets run smoothly and on time
* Supports athlete safety
* Creates a positive experience for seniors
* Allows coaches to focus on athletes
* Demonstrates strong community support for the program
We are excited to host our final conference home meet of the season on Friday, May 8th as we compete against Rex Putnam and Milwaukie High School. The evening will also include Senior Recognition as we celebrate the dedication and accomplishments of our graduating athletes.
As we head into the championship portion of our season — with JV Districts, Varsity Districts, and State Championships just ahead — this meet is an important opportunity for our athletes and program.
Hosting a successful track meet requires a tremendous team effort behind the scenes, and we are asking for the support of our families and community volunteers to help make the event run smoothly. Volunteers are essential in helping provide a positive experience for athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
Areas where help may be needed include:
• Field event assistance – High jump – long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, discus, shot put, and Javelin.
• Hurdle crew
• Finish line support
• Set up and clean up
• Assisting starter
No experience is necessary for many positions, and instructions will be provided.
If you are willing and available to help in any capacity, even for part of the meet, we would greatly appreciate your support. Every volunteer makes a difference and helps create a successful experience for our athletes and guests.
Thank you for continuing to support our track & field program and helping make this final home meet a memorable one for our athletes — especially our seniors.
Even one hour makes a difference.
