A big congratulations to my wife who was the masters winner in the Kokache 5k in West, Texas this morning.

She’s in Texas visiting family this weekend. 75F and 91% humidity at race time. Yuck.

Got in a short run pushing the wonder twins in the jogging stroller. Pushing 100 lbs is no joke.

More of the same in the women’s 800 meter final in the Brussels Diamond League final today.

As expected, Audrey Werro again holds off Femke Broeders-Bol to win in a meet record 1:54.75.

What a fantastic men’s 5000 meters today at the Diamond League final in Brussels.

Ideal running conditions (about 64F) led to an incredibly fast race with 6 men running under 12:50!

New national records for Bahrain and Burundi and seasonal best times for the top 7 athletes.

A special shout out to Graham Blanks on his new personal best. He’s an athlete who does almost all of his training on his own in Georgia.

I’m impressed by his work ethic and his confidence when racing. He’s not afraid to stick his nose in it when the real racing begins. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get the American record someday.

The performance of the meet by Klaudia Kazimierska to win the 1500 meters in the Diamond League final.

Her 3:54.05 was a meet record and a new Polish national record.

What an amazing season she’s having in her first year as a professional athlete! The former Oregon Duck continues to run new personal bests and recently placed second in the European Championships over 1500 meters.

Another fantastic race by Collen Kebinatshipi to win the 400 meters at the Diamond League final in Brussels today.

His performance was a national record, a meet record and led 3 other men under the old meet record. Personal bests for all 4 of those athletes.

What a fantastic race for Cam Myers! It was the race we all wanted to see. A fast pace (1:52.0 at 800 meters) and lots of people still in contention with 200 meters to go.

Kudos to Jakob Ingebrigsten for not being afraid to push the pace even after his long comeback from injury. He was rewarded with a season best.

Cameron Myers is one of my favorite athletes and I really believe that he’s the future of the 1500 meters. He’s shown that he can still close fast off of a fast pace or that he can run fast from the front on his own based on his 3:28.00 earlier this year.
Really happy to see him get the win.

A great race with season best times from 6 of the top 8 today.

A fantastic women’s steeplechase final in Brussels.

A new meet record for Faith Cherotich, five women under 9 minutes and a new PB for American Lexy Halliday.
