Patrik Donahue, AJ Allen & Maureen O'Connor teach Professor Cheng Man-Ching's Yang Style Short form of Tai Chi & QiGong. We also teach meditation.
His student, Patrick Watson, started the international Tai Chi Foundation. We teach the Yang Style Short form of Tai Chi as taught by Professor Cheng Man-Ching and his student Patrick Watson. We also teach 8 Ways™ and Roots and Branches 5-Element Qi Gong™ which are derived from the Tai Chi form; Process Integration Work; and meditation. Welcome to our new Beginning Tai Chi classes! We teach the Yang Style, Short Form of Tai Chi Chuan, as developed by Professor Cheng Man-Ch’ing who introduced Tai Chi to America. We are affiliated with the international Tai Chi Foundation, which trains teachers and offers a full platform of classes for Tai Chi, Roots and Branches Qi Gong, and 8 Ways of Tai Chi.
1. Beginning 1 Tai Chi - 10 AM PT, Saturdays beginning January 8.
Each 1-hour class is designed to support and improve your relaxation and breathing through Tai Chi practice. You will also join our local Tai Chi community as we explore and experience the healing benefits of Tai Chi.
2. Beginning 2 Tai Chi-1:30 AM PT, Saturday beginning January 8.

Please note that the Introduction to our Beginning Tai Chi class, scheduled for Saturday, March 21, has been postponed. All Portland Parks and Recreation (PPR) facilities are closed until April 1 and we have not yet determined the date for rescheduling the event. We will definitely announce the new date on this page.
