So proud of these girls for their AMAZING season! Earning 5th place at state to wrap up their year. A little message for our players:
Freshman- thank you for stepping up and playing alongside the upperclassmen with confidence! Your growth this season was great and we can't wait to see what you continue to do!
Sophomores- you really showed up this season and left a mark, you're someone that upcoming players will look up to so keep up the good work!
Juniors- you have some big shoes to fill, but we all know that you're capable because you proved it this season and we can't wait to see you step up to the role!
And to our Seniors- we can't even put it into words how much you mean to our program, you have left your mark on Potlatch Volleyball forever and we love you all! Good luck on whatever the next stage of your life looks like, your team and coaches will always support you. You will be missed, but once a Logger, always a Logger đź’š

Loggers fall to Red Devils

REXBURG, Idaho — Olivia Smith of Potlatch passed the 1,000-career dig milestone, but the Loggers were swept 26-24, 26-24, 25-16 by Murtaugh in Idaho Class 2A state tournament quarterfinal play at Madison High School.

“She’s been our libero since she was a freshman, so she’s had a huge impact on our defensive game,” Potlatch coach Libby Carpenter said of Smith. “She’s a huge asset to our team.”

Smith totaled 25 digs on the day. Jaida Andres and Aubree Lisher each had eight kills and Cadance Carlson had five solo blocks for Potlatch (18-5).

The Loggers will next face Lakeside of Plummer at 11 a.m. today in a loser-out contest.

Congratulations to OLIVIA SMITH for reaching ONE THOUSAND career digs in today's game!
