‼️This Sport‼️

Is not for the weak hearted. I’ve seen many men who have tried to step into a ring not even make it past weigh ins, heck not even out of their gyms with anxiety.

Anyone who has the courage to get in with someone else that is a trained fighter has accomplished something very few will ever understand and experience.

Last night’s performance was one of my toughest fights. With a deep heel hook submission, I pleaded with my opponent to tap before the hold went to far. Unfortunately, the hold did what it was designed to do and an injury occurred.

The win was bittersweet because the result of the win means recovery time for my opponent and as an athlete I feel for him and wish him a speedy recovery. ❤️‍🩹

If you’ve made it this far in the post, please guys, even at an amateur level we are all fighters in the end, please always do your best but remember these are other humans we are competing with and no victory is worth a severe injury needing surgeries, so be mindful of your body and there’s always another day to fight in the cage. We don’t always get another chance to use or limbs or walk again after severe injuries. Stay safe out there everyone! And thank you Jah for the opportunity to experience the big heart you have for this sport 🤠
