Do NOT order from this company. My son purchased a tent from them WEEKS ago and despite NUMEROUS attempts both by himself and me, we haven't heard back as to where it is. My final email this morning for a update or a refund has also been ignored. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau in the morning, and having my son follow up with his bank to get the money back.
This company is either phony or a very bad business. They’re contact email isn’t legit. Do not buy anything from this business.
Web site has to many annoying pop up ad's
Hard to read about products when having to delete pop up's.
Beware. I ordered the ultralight tent. Last update was the 9/15 "at facility"
GUANGZHOU EMS, CHINA. I'm very disappointed the web site did not disclose the product is made and shipped in a foreign country. Who's overseeing the quaility?
I ordered a sun hat from you a month ago and I have not received it yet.....nor have you responded to my email inquiry.....

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks

Have you ever been walking on a trail and heard a “knock, knock, knock” noise in the distance? If so, chances are you are hearing a woodpecker. If you're in Grant Grove, that sound might even be from the White-Headed Woodpecker, sighted quite commonly in that area of our parks.

The Great Christmas Bird Count is coming up soon on December 16th. Join our partner, the Sequoia Parks Conservancy for this FREE, annual special event. Click this link for more information and to sign up: www.exploresequoiakingscanyon.com/bird-count.html

Rocky Mountain National Park

Westside Wednesday: What are the trail conditions for skiing and snowshoeing on the west side? A winter storm brought a light dusting of snow and much colder temperatures this past Monday. While we did receive some snow, only 1 - 2 inches of are currently blanketing the valley. Trails are currently snow covered, and icy, and traction devices on your boots are recommended. Everglades National Park

Everglades National Park is 70 years old today! Thank you to our millions of visitors and friends! We hope millions more will come to relax, recreate, and reflect.

"Here are no lofty peaks seeking the sky, no mighty glaciers or rushing streams wearing away the uplifted land. Here is land, tranquil in its quiet beauty, serving not as the source of water, but as the last receiver of it. To its natural abundance we owe the spectacular plant and animal life that distinguishes this place from all others in our country." -President Harry S. Truman at the park's dedication in Everglades City, 12/6/1947.

In celebration, we would like to invite you to join us at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center this afternoon, December 6, at 2:30 pm for cake, while it lasts.

“The glories and the beauties of form, color, and sound unite in the Grand Canyon - forms unrivaled even by the mountains, colors that vie with sunsets, and sounds that span the diapason from tempest to tinkling raindrop, from cataract to bubbling fountain.”

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks

“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful.” –Alice Walker

Did you know that Sequoia National Park is home to another rare tree species other than the Giant Sequoia?
The foxtail pine (Pinus balfouriana) is a rare high-elevation tree that is endemic to California. They are found in the southern Sierra Nevada and the Klamath Mountains to our north. In the Sierra Nevada, they are found between 7,500 and 11,500 feet. Often times, the southern foxtail pine is the dominant species of conifer in the higher subalpine regions! Their crazy trunks are sometimes attributed to ice blasting from blizzards. Hope you enjoyed this
