I hope you are enjoying the start of summer! I am teaching lessons at Liberty Park on Wednesday nights. They are already filling up so I will be starting a waitlist and may add another evening depending on interest. Please message if you’d like to be added to the waitlist or if you’d be interested in lessons another night. Lessons are $23 and you pay per lesson (no membership/commitment needed)! Absolute beginner to intermediate players welcome! We prioritize learning the basic strokes, point play, and footwork; developing a love for the sport; and having fun!

Current lessons:

4-6 years old: 5:30-6:30pm Weds
7-9 years old: 6:30-7:30pm Weds
10+ years old: 7:30-8:30pm Weds

Final tennis camp of the summer was a huge success! We learned so much and had so much fun!!!!

Having a blast at tennis camp this week! These kids have learned so much and have improved their skills tenfold!! I have been so impressed with their excitement and passion for the sport and learning! More photos to come!

FREE DROP-IN BEGINNER TENNIS LESSONS- THIS SUNDAY June 9th at Liberty Park🎾

4-6 years old: 4pm
7-9 years old: 5pm
10+ years old 6pm
Adults 7pm

Requirements:
Complete beginner to intermediate players welcome
First lesson with me as a coach or took lessons from me more than 2 years ago
Bring a racket (I do have some to borrow while supplies last)

Try something new this summer and learn a a lifelong sport and advance your tennis skills in a fun and low-pressure environment! This is a great opportunity to try tennis without any commitment and see if you or your child enjoys it before signing up for lessons!

Meet the Coach!!

With so many new faces at my lessons, I thought I’d introduce myself on here! My name is Lexie and I am the main coach at Lexie’s Tennis!

A little bit about me:
I have been teaching tennis since I was 14 years old where I was an assistant coach for the Olentangy Middle School Teams as a freshman in high school! I taught middle school tennis for 4 years before beginning my own lessons at Liberty Park. I’ve taught over 1000 students the past 9 years! During my tennis career, I went to states at Liberty High School and was captain of the OSU club tennis team during college.

During the school year, I am a full time student! I graduated from OSU last spring and just finished my first year of medical school at OSU. I am not sure of what I want to do yet, but I am leaning towards pediatric emergency medicine! If I am not teaching tennis or studying, I am traveling, playing tennis and pickle ball with my friends, or fostering animals!!

Tennis is a huge part of my life and has given me so many opportunities to meet new friends, stay active, teach, and be a part of a team. I believe it is the best sport to learn as you can play it forever and anywhere for free! I am very passionate about not only teaching tennis, but fostering excitement and fun around being active, learning a new sport, meeting friends, and building confidence. My favorite part is watching my students improve and forming relationships with the kids and adults who take my lessons as well as the parents. There is no better feeling than knowing I was able to make even the smallest impact on one of my students!
