🥎💙 Ohio Thunder 10U is looking for ONE more player to round out our roster!

We are a Powell, Ohio-based team with a talented group of 10 players and great families. We're looking to add one more athlete to complete our team!

⚡ A little about our team:

-Competitive but balanced B/C tournament schedule
-Practices at Olentangy Liberty High School facilities
-Strong support for multi-sport athletes — all 10 of our current players are participating in fall sports!
-Experienced coaching staff focused on development, confidence, and having fun
-Positive, team-first environment with great families

All positions will be considered! We're looking for a player and family who will be a great fit for our team.

Preferred birthdate: 09/01/2015 - 8/31/2016.

What a way to kick off our fall season! 💙🥎
Four games, rain delays, some team bonding at IHOP 🥞, and a whole lot of fight from this group.

These girls battled all day and came out as CHAMPIONS of our first fall tournament!

If I had a 10-year-old pitcher standing in front of me, THIS is what I would tell them ‼️‼️‼️

And it sure as hell wouldn’t be how many pitches she throws or how hard the radar gun says she is.

1. COMMAND OVER EVERYTHING.
I don’t care if you throw 55 or 65. Can you throw the damn ball where you want to when your heart is pounding and runners are on base? Can you own BOTH sides of the plate? Can you get ahead? Velocity gets attention. Command gets outs.

2. CHANGEUP OR BUST.
Yep. I said it. 😂 Before we start collecting 15 different pitches like Pokémon cards, can we PLEASE learn how to take speed off the ball? A nasty changeup at 10 will teach you more about pitching than chasing another breaking pitch you can’t consistently command. Fastball. Changeup. LOCATION. Make hitters uncomfortable.

3. CAN YOU COMPETE WHEN YOU’RE TOAST?
This one matters more than parents want to admit.

What happens when you walk two? Give up a bomb? Your defense boots one? The umpire squeezes you? You’re tired, frustrated, embarrassed and NOTHING feels good?

Can you still get the next hitter?

Because pitching isn’t about looking dominant when everything is working. Everybody loves pitching when they’re shoving.

I want to see who you become when the game punches you directly in the mouth.

At 10 years old, I’m not trying to manufacture a college pitcher.

I’m trying to build a COMPETITOR.

Command.
Changeup.
Compete.

You can chase velocity later. You can add pitches later. But if we skip the foundation because we’re obsessed with making a 10-year-old look “advanced,” don’t be shocked when everything falls apart once hitters actually get good.

Master the boring 💩 first.

We're excited to welcome Caroline Grant back to Ohio Thunder 10U for her third season!

Caroline is a 2036 graduate who also competes in soccer and basketball. Though she's the youngest player on the team, she's fearless and always rises to the challenge—never backing down, no matter who she's competing against. 💙🥎

We're thrilled to have Caroline and her family back for another season and can't wait to watch her continue to grow, compete, and make memories in her third year with Thunder.

We're excited to welcome Olivia Grant back to Ohio Thunder 10U for her third season!

Olivia is a 2034 graduate who also competes in volleyball and basketball. When she's not on the field, she loves running and working out—you'll often find her running the stadium steps at OLHS just for fun! 🏃‍♀️💪

We're thrilled to have Olivia and her family back for another season and can't wait to watch her continue to lead, compete, and make an impact in her third year with Thunder.

We're excited to welcome Gabby Rockfield back to Ohio Thunder 10U for her third season!

Gabby is a 2034 graduate who also competes in basketball, volleyball, and flag football. When she's not on the field, she enjoys arts and crafts, baking, gardening, and spending time at the pool! 🎨🧁🌻🏊‍♀️
