Our time in Bismarck, and our time as a team has come to an end!
Despite the last-minute injury and line-up change, we still battled hard all the way to the end! We would like to thank Owen for all the help he gave us this week! Unfortunately, we were unable to have the finish we were hoping for, ending on the wrong side of the inch a few too many times. We would love to blame the ice, but the ice was fantastic! We would like to give a huge thanks to the ice makers for incredible world class ice all week! We would like to thank the Bismarck-Mandan Parks and Rec, and the Capital Curling Club for hosting this championship in the Capital Ice Complex! This was the perfect venue, and had a great atmosphere! Lastly, we would like to thank all the volunteers that made the event run so smoothly from start to finish!
This team has grown so much over the past two years and has created life-long friendships and unforgettable memories! We would like to thank all our sponsors and fans for all of your support! With this season being the last year of eligibility for both Matthew and Joey, Team Lannoye Curling will be parting ways. Here's what you might see from each of the players in the near future...
Joey:
Plans to continue curling in the college circuit, and explore opportunities for men's and doubles play.
Ryan:
Currently exploring options for a new junior team for next season.
Sawyer:
Currently exploring options for a new junior team next season.
Matthew:
Plans to continue curling competitively, currently exploring options in men's, and will continue curling with Teagan Thurston in Doubles.
