Please remember that all of Prescott area where the St Croix and Mississippi rivers meet is ALL a no wake zone. We had MANY people ignoring these no wake markers this weekend and not only does it damage the shorelines but it also damages the boats tied up in their slips.
stcroix360.com River management is intended to provide recreation for everyone, but some boaters are breaking rules they may not know exist.
“Own your Wake” Please pay attention to the no wake markers and the marinas around you. No wake markers are not there for fun, they are there for a reason... they are there to protect the marinas, boats, and safety of those boat owners! Please pay attention to these no wake markers and abide by them, know the rules of the river, and know where these no wake markers are!
kare11.com The DNR says "own your wake" after two people were seriously injured in separate incidents along the St. Croix near Stillwater.
Sorry folks, looks like we’re looking at another no wake starting tomorrow and through the weekend and these levels don’t take into account the rain we will receive today and tomorrow!
[07/01/19] Happy 4th of July week! Just wanted to give everyone a little heads up on our gas dock... our gas dock is open for liquor, beer, wine, and all of our other goodies we have, however our gas pumps are still down as we are getting a new gas tank put in as well as adding a diesel tank to our gas dock!!! Since Mother Nature blessed us with below freezing cold weather well into May it pushed back our timeline of having these new tanks installed. We are working with the City of Prescott and the State of WI to make this transition as easy and quickly as possible with an expected “Gas Open” date of August! Thank you to all of our dedicated customers for being so patient and understanding through this transition! We are very excited for our new tanks!
ALL NEW!!! Now serving.... Fireball Buckets for your livers desire! Stop in this weekend and cool down with some refreshing beverages!
Hopeful this will be our last flood for the 2019 boating season and everyone can enjoy their summer! We are looking forward to seeing all of our customers in the upcoming weeks as the river crests for the second time and hopefully the last!

Friday fun fact...
A little history on the Flood Run
The Flood Run® has a history of giving. In 1965, 12 motorcycle riders rode 90 miles to Winona, MN to help sandbag during the 1965 Flood.
Most of the original 12 spent the next several years in Vietnam, but all were back home by 1970. They decided to carry on the tradition. Jim Noteboom named the ride The Flood Run®. As the years went by, a fall Flood Run® was added to have twice as much fun.
Over the years, the Flood Run® motorcycle run/ride has grown and gone through many changes. It is one of the oldest and largest runs in America.
The original run went down Minnesota highway 61 to Winona. Over the years, some riders began riding down Wisconsin 35. Now the run is a loop running down both the Minnesota and Wisconsin sides of the river.
At Highway 10, riders can go left into Prescott, or right to Highway 61 and down the nostalgic Minnesota side. Riders can cross the Mississippi in Prescott, Red Wing, Wabasha, or Winona. Cross the river where ever you like, jump in where ever you like, or do the full Gold Pin Tour. Just make sure to purchase a Flood Run wristband to show your support for the Children's Hospital.
The Flood Run® is run by dozens of volunteers. Their passion for children and generous giving of their time is what permits this epic event to happen each spring and fall. Please extend a sincere “thank you” to those you run across that make your day on the Flood Run® a great day.
Safe travels tomorrow!!!!

Ice Out 2019!
Prescott Wisconsin Police Department
Lock and Dam #4 in Alma, WI
With water anticipated to rise above the lockwall at Lock and Dam 4, in Alma, Wisconsin, personnel from several Mississippi River locks helped prepare the site for high water on March 29. Judy Denzer, lockmaster, explains how handrail removal, jersey barriers, snow fencing and sand bags will minimize damage to electrical and mechanical components of the lock by keeping debris off the structure and moving downstream. #2019FloodFight

I've been asked by the Minnesota Wild to add water to the ice at their home game Saturday night for their "this is our ice" celebration. I chose the St. Croix River in Stillwater because of the amount of time my family and I spend on the river every summer, and after all, Stillwater is the birthplace of Minnesota. Go Minnesota Wild !!
