The world may be trending skinny again…
But remember:
Smaller ≠ stronger.
I was “skinny”
And she couldn’t do pull-ups.
Could barely lift more than a 35 lb barbell.
But my current body?
Stronger.
More capable.
More confident.
And way less afraid to take up space.

6 months of sticking to my goals.
(Granted, my body is still changing postpartum.)
My goal was simple: show up to at least 2–3 CrossFit classes a week, build muscle, strengthen my core, and get back to working on my gymnastics and Olympic lifts.
But first — healing. Prioritizing nutrient-dense foods, color on every plate, reducing stress (as much as possible), and resting when needed.
I doubted myself a lot.
Am I doing everything right? What else could I be doing? Should I push harder?
And yep… I played the comparison game too. Wondering why it seemed easier for everyone else or why my progress didn’t look the way I thought it “should.”
But I kept going. And honestly, I’m proud of myself.
Fast forward to now: working out at least 4x a week, prioritizing strength training, yoga, and more running. Feeling stronger, more capable, and more like myself again.
Still postpartum. Still healing. Still growing. But proud of how far I’ve come.
We’re 6 months into the new year… what’s something you’re proud of yourself for sticking with, even when it felt hard?
Sometimes it be like that. 🤷♀️

Obligatory 9 months postpartum update post you didn’t ask for 😜 Second time around has been very different than my first.
With Nora, I felt like a complete stranger in my body. I was scared to squat a 35 lb barbell and honestly felt disconnected from myself for a while. I gained close to 40 lbs during that pregnancy, but the “pre-pregnancy” weight came off relatively quickly.
With Charlee, I only gained about 25 lbs — but getting back to a place that feels good in my body has taken much longer. A larger diastasis, plus surgery to repair an umbilical hernia, definitely changed the healing timeline.
But here’s the cool part…
I’m lifting heavier than I was before both pregnancies (like 98% positive 😅), feeling way stronger, and this time around I don’t feel like such a stranger in my body.
Am I 100% yet? Nope and wasn’t expecting to.
Regular pushups still feel hard. Pull-ups are improving slowly. V-ups are a huge no-go, and hollow rocks still aren’t happening.
But I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made especially over the last 6 months, and excited to keep getting stronger.
9 months postpartum in summary— stronger, wiser, and (still trying) to be nicer to myself a whole lot more this time around.
I get asked all the time, “How do you keep up with your schedule?”
CrossFit coach.
Yoga teacher.
Mom of two.
Online nutrition coach.
Dude. I couldn’t tell you. I think my brain just thrives with variety — always has. I could barely make it through the day stuck behind a desk in my past life.
I love having different things to pour into. One hour I’m coaching lifts and hyping people up, the next I’m slowing things down on the yoga mat.
How do I really keep up with it all?
Well… that wasn’t Jenna — that was Patricia. 💁🏻♀️🤣

This right here is why I do what I do.
When Allison started 1:1 coaching, her goal was simple: get stronger.
Like so many women, she was exhausted from years of under eating, overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice, and unsure what her body actually needed.
That’s exactly why I created my B.Well Method — because real transformation starts with supporting and healing the body and mind first, not jumping straight into something the body isn’t ready for.
Instead of cutting more calories than what she was already trying to do, we started with Phase 1: Supporting Your Metabolism — focusing on better fueling, balanced meals, reducing mindless evening snacking, improving recovery, sleep, and building habits that actually fit her busy life.
Then came a reverse diet. After years of under-eating, her body needed more support, not less to build strength, energy, and recovery.
Now we’re in Phase 2: Shredding the Fat — and she is absolutely crushing it.
Still Hitting PRs in the gym.
Getting stronger.
RX’ing her first CrossFit workout.
Feeling more confident.
Clothes fitting better.
The biggest reason for her success?
She trusted the process.
Real transformation isn’t built through 30 day extreme diets. It’s built through consistency, patience, and learning how to work with your body instead of against it.
So proud of you, Allison. And the best part? We’re just getting started
Look at you go.
Healing through things you don’t always talk about.
Growing through seasons that have stretched you.
Still showing up for everyone around you — even on the hard days.
That deserves more credit than you probably give yourself. Keep going mama.
Appearances are cool but trust me… you’ll be a lot unhappier if your only goal is to look good instead of feeling strong.
