In OAFHA programs we don't tell players to, "Put your stick down." Instead we say, "Put your hands below your knees." The former is for people who want to quit the sport. The latter is for field hockey athletes who want to be continuously successful playing the sport.

OAFHA was pleased to host a training session for area teenage goalkeepers. The clinician was Steve Wagner, the goalkeeper for Team USA at the 1996 Olympics.
