Together We Rise.
The Runyon Field Sports Complex is honored to host a special evening of music, hope, and community as we come together to support those affected by the Aspen Acres Fire and recognize the incredible courage of our first responders, support staff, and volunteers.
Join us on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Runyon Field Sports Complex
📍 400 Stanton Ave., Pueblo, Colorado
🎟 Tickets: $20
🕖 Gates Open: 7:00 PM
🎤 Pueblo’s own Cody Cozz takes the stage at 8:00 PM
This will be more than a concert, it’s an opportunity for our community to stand together, honor those who answered the call, and help families and communities impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire. 100% of all proceeds will benefit Aspen Acres Fire Relief.
We’ll also have a donation trailer on-site collecting school supplies for students and families affected by the fire. If you’re able, please consider bringing new school supplies such as notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, rulers, folders, backpacks, glue sticks, scissors, markers, and other classroom essentials. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference and help local students begin the school year with the supplies they need.
Please note: School supply donations are greatly appreciated, but they do not count as admission or the purchase of a concert ticket. A $20 ticket is required for entry to the benefit concert.
Purchase your tickets by scanning the QR code on the event poster, and please share this post to help us spread the word throughout Southern Colorado.
Together, we can provide hope, support, and a fresh start for families who need it most. We can’t wait to see you on August 7 as our community comes together for an unforgettable night of music, compassion, and giving.
Thank you for supporting our neighbors, honoring those who answered the call, and proving once again that when Southern Colorado comes together, there is nothing we can’t accomplish.
Together We Rise.

CHAMPIONS FOREVER.
Some seasons are remembered for the wins. This one will be remembered for making history.
The 2026 Pueblo County Hornets battled through every challenge, played with heart, represented their school and community with pride, and finished the journey as the CHSAA 4A Baseball State Champions. With a 9-4 victory over Falcon, the Hornets captured the first baseball state championship in school history, a moment that will be remembered for generations.
At the Runyon Field Sports Complex, we were honored to watch many of these young men grow from talented athletes into state champions. It has been a privilege to announce their games and witness the dedication, teamwork, and character they displayed every step of the way.
Congratulations to the players, coaches, families, and everyone who supported this unforgettable run. Thank you for giving Pueblo a season we’ll never forget.
While this championship season will always be remembered, it’s only the beginning for these outstanding seniors. Many will continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level, others will pursue higher education, and several will enter the workforce. No matter where life takes them, we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.
As a proud veteran, I have a special appreciation for Myles Medina and his decision to serve our country by joining the United States Marine Corps. We thank him for answering that call and wish him, along with every senior on this championship team, nothing but success as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
The future is incredibly bright, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish. Congratulations once again, Champions!
The incredible Pueblo County Hornet parents put together this amazing video, and it’s guaranteed to give you goosebumps! Thank you Jillian Maes!!
