Southern Colorado Reign Softball is excited to announce our 2026-2027 Tryouts!

As we enter our 2nd year as a travel ball team, we’re looking to add a few experienced, dedicated athletes to an already strong and competitive roster. If your player is motivated, coachable, and ready to compete at a high level, we want to meet her.

🥎 Pitchers and utility players are strongly encouraged to attend

As the 2026 Spring League season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize this incredible group of girls and everything they accomplished this spring.

This team showed up day after day ready to work, compete, learn, and grow. They battled through challenges, faced some tough competition, and continued to push themselves every step of the way. We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, heart, and determination they brought to the field all season long.

Finishing the season in 1st place in league play with a 9-1 record is something these girls earned through hard work, commitment, and teamwork. While we’re proud of the results, we’re even more proud of the way they represented SOCO Reign throughout the season.

A huge thank you goes out to our families for their support, our coaches for their dedication, and especially our players for making this season one to remember.

🌄 Fun Fact: The Southern Colorado Reign logo was designed to represent the place we proudly call home—Pueblo, the Home of Heroes. The mountains represent the Southern Colorado landscape that surrounds us, while the sunset colors reflect the incredible skies we’re fortunate enough to see every day. The striped sunset emblem woven into our logo was inspired by Pueblo and serves as a tribute to the city and community that helped shape our organization.
Every detail was intentionally chosen to represent the pride, resilience, culture, and spirit of Pueblo. We are so proud to wear Pueblo across our hearts every time we step onto the field.

This weekend is about more than softball. It’s about representing our city, honoring its history, celebrating its culture, and showing what it means to be part of Southern Colorado.

When Southern Colorado Reign was created, we wanted to bring something different to youth sports. In a short amount of time, we’ve watched many of those ideas spread throughout our local softball community. And that’s something we are incredibly proud of—not because of the recognition, but because it means more players are being celebrated, more athletes are being recognized, more hometown teams are being seen beyond Pueblo, team pages are more active, organizations are sharing game recaps and spotlighting athletes, sponsors are being highlighted, teams are finding new ways to connect with their families and community, more families are making memories that will last long after the final out and that’s what makes it all worth it! We are a community, we are Pueblo!

WHAT A WAY TO FINISH! 🥎🧡🩷

The girls closed out the 2026 Spring League season in the best way possible—with a hard-fought 7-5 victory over the Bessemer Bananas!

From the first pitch to the final out, this team showed exactly who they are. They came out swinging, built an early lead, battled through a momentum shift, and responded when it mattered most. Every girl contributed, every girl competed, and every girl played with heart.

Emma J had an incredible night at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3. Juliana delivered a huge RBI double, Mia added multiple hits, Zoeylynn came through with a key RBI, and Rachel stepped into the circle in relief and shut the door with scoreless innings to help secure the win. The girls collected nine hits, stole six bases, played clean defense! These girls showed exactly what they’re capable of when they play together.

As coaches and families, we couldn’t be more proud of the growth we’ve seen this season. These girls have put in the work, faced challenges head-on, and continued to show up for one another every step of the way. This wasn’t just a win—it was the perfect example of what happens when a team believes in each other and refuses to quit.

Another strong night for the Reign! 💪🖤🧡💗

SOCO Reign 12U - Sanchez picked up a big 9-2 win over Battitudes Tuesday night at Runyon Sports Complex behind a dominant performance in the circle from Gia M. Gia was locked in from the start, striking out 11 batters over five innings and setting the tone for the entire game.

The offense came alive early and never slowed down. Zoeylynn had a huge night at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double and helping spark the offense from the leadoff spot. Emma stayed hot as well, collecting three hits and driving in three runs. Big contributions up and down the lineup from Juliana, Mia, Lilah, Rachel, Kymani, and Kaelynn helped power the Reign to 16 total hits on the night.

This team continues to play hard, stay aggressive, and compete together every inning. Proud of the energy, teamwork, and fight these girls continue to show! 👑🥎

A little late post, but we couldn’t not share these memories from Runyon Appreciation Day at the Rockies game! 💜🌄

One of the coolest parts about this sport is that it becomes so much more than just softball. It’s the friendships, the laughs in the stands, the bonding outside the field, and the memories these girls are making together along the way.

Getting to experience a Rockies game together and walk the field as a team was such a fun moment for our girls. These are the kinds of memories they’ll remember years from now — not just the wins and tournaments, but the time spent together as a family.

So thankful for this team, these girls, and all the opportunities this journey brings.
