What an incredible weekend of softball! Your determination, resilience, and heart were evident in every inning. You left it all on the field and should be proud of everything you accomplished.

A runner-up finish is no small feat, and it reflects the countless hours of practice, teamwork, and dedication you’ve put into the season. Keep building on this success—your hard work will continue to pay off! Great job, girls! Hold your heads high—you’ve earned it

SECOND PLACE IN THE 2026 END OF SUMMER SLAM!

And there is so much more behind that sentence than a ring or a final score.

We walked into this weekend as the underdogs. Our girls had never played a single 14U game before this tournament, let alone a whole 14U tournament.

We lost all three games in pool play Saturday, but those losses never defined what this weekend would become.

They came back Sunday ready to FIGHT.

From 0–3 on Saturday to battling our way through bracket play and into the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME on Sunday.

And we did it with OUR 12 GIRLS.
No pickup players. No extra help brought in for the weekend. Just our 12 girls putting in the work together, growing together and learning to trust one another. We did it our way, with our girls, and we will forever be proud to stand on that.

They could have let Saturday discourage them. Instead, they showed up the next morning and proved something to themselves — they belong.

They belonged competing against 14U teams.
They belonged in that championship game.
And they earned every bit of those second-place rings.

To battle all the way back and come within ONE RUN — 7–6 — of winning the championship is something these girls should be incredibly proud of.

This weekend showed us exactly what this group is made of: grit, resilience, heart and a whole lot of fight.

If this is what they can accomplish their first weekend ever playing 14U, we cannot wait to see what comes next.

Big things are coming for these girls. It’s only UP from here.

🥎🩷🧡 END OF SUMMER SLAM — POOL PLAY COMPLETE! 🧡🩷🥎

We may have fallen short on the scoreboard today, but those scores do not tell the whole story of how these girls played.

Today, our girls stepped onto the field for their first 14U tournament together as a team. They battled through 105° heat against some tough competition. Not one game was a blowout. They hung in there, competed until the very end, and every single player did her part.

There were SO many incredible moments today — clutch at-bats, strong pitching, girls working hard behind the plate, and some AMAZING defensive plays! They played their hearts out, picked each other up, and kept battling even when things didn’t go our way.

But one of our favorite parts of tournament weekends goes beyond softball. 🩷 These girls had FUN. They laughed, spent time together, and continued building friendships and memories. Watching our girls and our families bond is something pretty special, and those are the moments that make the long, hot tournament days worth it.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing families who pitched in every way possible today. From keeping the girls fed and hydrated to helping keep everyone cool and comfortable in these extreme temperatures — you all helped make the day run so smoothly. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours! 🫶
