The HP Panthers defeated in Navarino Rangers Thursday night in an extra inning tournament game by a score of 7 to 6￼. Robbie Schuettpelz was the man of the hour! He had a 2 run home run in the first inning, a RBI double in the second to put Hofa Park up 5-0. Navarino fight back and went ahead 6 to 5 but Brinton Anderson hit a solo home run in the six to tie the game￼. Schuettpelz then came through with an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth for the walk off win. Hofa Park will play Saturday at 3:30 PM with a chance of advance to the championship round on Sunday.
Upcoming Schedule includes our Dairyland League opener at home on Sunday vs the Bonduel Broncos at 1:30 pm and then the Navarino Tournament as follows.
Group 1 will consist of host Navarino Rangers, 3 time champ Hofa Park Panthers, and new comer Viroqua Sox Baseball.
Group 2 contains the Appleton Legends who returns to the tournament, Bonduel Broncos, and Shoreland Champ Manitowoc Bandits.
Group 3 includes defending NHC champion Kewaskum A's Baseball, Dairyland Champ Waupaca Lakemen, and the Shawano Lobos.

Special thanks to all these awesome guys and the ones not pictured !! We had a great 2nd half of the season going 10-2 overall and 6-0 in league play until our run came to an end in the Grand Championship game on Sunday with a 7-3 loss to Waupaca. These guys really came together and played some great baseball and I am Soooo proud of them and their hard work!! Some of them traveled a lot of mile to come home from college from Illinois and Minnesota as well as western Wisconsin to compete in playoff games because of their love of the game and commitment to Hofa Park baseball!! Special thanks to Pete and Huffer who were there all season to keep book as well as work to keep our diamond ready for our games. I could not have done this without you guys!! We put in a lot of time and sweat and drank a lot of beer to keep the team going!! Thanks to Ty Myers who came over from Freedom and even though he could not play because he was not on the roster, he showed up for all the games and was another “coach” for the guys!! Thanks also to all the people who helped with our home games, parents and fans alike, who helped with concessions and collection of gate and 50/50 raffles!! Thanks to Mark Schuettpelz who announced all of our games and Mike Zablocki who made the burgers and helped with concessions all year!! Special thanks to my beautiful wife Sharon who did an awesome job singing our National Anthem at all our home games and took care of overseeing everything behind the scenes during the game so I could manage the ball club!! You are all very special and greatly appreciated!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You !! Thanks to all the fans who showed up to all our games and watched us grow as a ball club!! We don’t have a team without your support. I’m sorry this is a long post but I hope I have not forgotten anybody!! Looking forward to next season and building on this season’s success!! GO PANTHERS!!
You’re Hofa Park panthers came up a couple of Runs short today as they were defeated 7 to 3 in the Dairyland league championship game￼ by the Waupaca Lakemen. James Bornick was named the games MVP when he went three for four with two RBI in a home run! Special thanks to all the fans and players for a wonderful season!￼￼
Game Day!! Hofa Park will travel to Waupaca today to play for the Dairyland League grand championship at 1:30. They received a lot of rain last night but I was assured they will be ready for game time!! Go Panthers!!
Hofa Park defeated the undefeated Hortonville Stars today by a score of 9-5 to advance to the Grand Championship game next week to take on the Waupaca Lakemen at Waupaca at 1:30 !! Let get some fans there to cheer on the Panthers!!
Hofa Park will travel to Hortonville on Sunday, August 22 to take on the stars in the second round of the Dairyland league playoffs! Hope to see you out for the game! The winner goes to the grand championship game!￼
Your Hofa Park Panthers defeated the Navarino Rangers by a score of 4-0 in the first round of the Dairyland League playoffs. Gavin Rusch allowed 5 hits in 7 innings of work, walking 3 and striking out 3 batters. Eli Frank threw the last 2 innings to complete the shut out. Rob Schuettpelz knocked in 2 runs, Will Sullivan knocked in another and Cole Wilcox homered in the 9th for the win. Wilcox, Schuettpelz, Sullivan and James Bornick each had 2 hits. Hofa Park pounded out 12 hits in the game. We will find out later today who we will play next weekend. Stay tuned!!

Our exhibition game schedule tonight against Little Chute has been canceled. The field is being used for other things tonight. We will be at Navarino Sunday afternoon at 1:30 PM for the first playoff game of the season!￼￼￼

Our game today against Little Chute in Hofa Park has been canceled due to rain! We will play Wednesday night in Little Chute at 7:30 PM and start the playoffs next Sunday against Navarino in Navarino at 1:30 PM￼

Our exhibition game in Bonduel on Wednesday August 4th has been cancelled. We will travel instead to Cecil to take on the Mudhens at 7:30 that night. We will then be hosting Little Chute on Sunday August 8th in Hofa Park for an exhibition game at 1:30 pm and then Wednesday night August 11th we will travel to Little Chute for another exhibition game at 7:30 pm. Dairyland League playoffs will resume for us on Sunday August 15th when we will travel to Navarino to take on the 4th seeded Rangers at 1:30 PM. Mark your calendars and come on out to root on the Panthers!!

Hofa Park defeated the Waupaca Lakemen by a score of 5-4 in the final Dairyland League game of the 2021 season. The Panthers ended the season with a 6-4 record in league play. The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning on a James Borick solo home run. The Lakemen plates 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd and added a single run in the 4th for a 3-1 lead. Hofa Park added a run in the top of the 5th when Will Sullivan walked and advanced to 3rd on a Tyler Nystrum single. Sullivan later scored on a Marcus Hornacek single to make the score 3-2. Waupaca scored a single run in the 6th to widen their lead to 4-2 but the Panthers plated 3 runs in the top of the 9th inning to go ahead 5-4. Eli Frank and Brinton Anderson both singled to start the inning. With 1 out, Will Sullivan singled to load the bases and Nystrum delivered a 2 RBI single to tie the game at 4. Hornacek then delivered a 2 out single to plate the go ahead run. Rob Schuettpelz got the win on the mound, throwing 4 innings of relief, allowing 1 hit and 1 run, walking 2 while striking out 3 batters. Eli Frank started the game, throwing 5 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 earned runs while walking 4 and striking out 8 batters. The Panthers outhit the Lakemen 11-5

Championship Friday Night!!! Come on down to Krenger field at Martzke Park tonight as the Navarino Rangers take on the Hofa Park Panthers in the championship game of the Shawano Lobos Tournament. Game time is set for 7pm with the grand slam raffle drawing to follow.

The Panthers took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning with Grady brick hitting a two run double to highlight the inning.￼ Hofa Park added four more runs in the top of the fourth inning with Robbie Scheuttpelz and Bob Tilot both singling in runs￼. Your Hofa Park panthers defeated the Pulaski Reds last night by a score of 10-0 in five innings￼ in the first round of the Shawano Tournament. Hofa Park went ahead 1-0 on a RBI single by Tyler Nystrum in the bottom of the second inning. They added three more runs in the bottom of the third on a sacrifice fly by Robert Scheuttpelz and the late error in the inning.The Panthers plated six runs in the bottom of the fifth to end the game, singles by Rylie Tilot, Rob Scheuttpelz￼ and Bob Tilot all scored runs.
Cameron Crawford made his debut for the Panthers last night, throwing four innings and not allowing a hit while walking one batter and striking out 4 hitters. Shandon Hamilton pitched the fifth allowing one hit.

The Hofa Park Panthers defeated the Nichols nitros today my score of 6-1. The win put the Panthers league record at 5-4 for the season with 1 game left to play. Cole Wilcox scored on a Bob Tilot single in the first to make the score 1-0 Nichols scored a single run in the top of the fourth to tie the game at one. Cole Wilcox hit a two run double in the bottom of the fourth to make the score 3 to 1 and Bob Tilot hit a run scoring ground ball in the bottom of the sixth to add to the score. The Panthers added 2 more runs in the bottom of the seventh on a Carsen Williquette 2-RBI single. Mitch Mennen got the win on the mound throwing six innings, allowing 4 hits and one run while striking out 4 batters.
Game Day !! Hofa Park will host the Nichols Nitros Sunday July 25th for our raffle game at 1:20 pm. Bring you lawn chair and umbrella (for the sun, not the rain!!). Hope to see you there!!

Hofa Park defeated Marinette today by a score of 5-4. The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Cole Wilcox singled, stole second, moved a third on a pass ball and scored on a fly ball by James Borick￼. Marinette went ahead 2-1 in the bottom of the second but Hofa Park tied the game at two when Borick hit a solo home run￼. Marinette went up 3 to 2 in the bottom of the fifth with the Panthers scoring a single run in the sixth to tie the score at 3 when Borick singled and later scored on a sac fly by Grady Brick. The Panthers added single runs in the seventh and eighth inning to take a 5 to 3 lead, Cole Wilcox singles with two outs, stole second and scored on a single by Borick. Marinette plated one run in the bottom of the eighth but Rob Scheuttpelz close the door in the ninth for the save, getting the three batters out that he faced in the game! Wilcox and Bornick each had three hits in the game with Bob Tilot adding 2 and Robbie Scheuttpelz and Mitch Mennen each had one hit￼. Mike Delgado got the win on the mound, throwing three innings in relief, allowing one run on four hits well walking one and striking out one￼ batter.

Bonduel Tournament: Monday July 12th we will take on the Pulaski Reds at 8:30 pm. If we lose we will play Tuesday at 6:30 against the Shawano Lobos and if we win we will play Wednesday night at 8:30 pm against the Lobos.
The Pulaski Reds are a member of the Dairyland Baseball League. Home games are played at historic Doug McDermid Field (The Doug) at Veteran's Memorial Park
