Southwest Florida β May 3, 2026 β Twin Rivers United proudly announces a historic milestone following last nightβs United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Menβs Division 1 match win against SWFL SC. Miguel βMigzβ Dotres a 15-year-old standout from Win Soccer Academy, recently called up to the senior squad, found the back of the net in the 37th minute to level the match becoming the youngest player in club history to score for Twin Rivers United at just 15 years and 180 days old.
This achievement marks him as the youngest goalscorer in Twin Rivers United history and one of the youngest in UPSL Division One, highlighting both his individual talent and the strength of the clubβs developmental system.
The goal not only energized the team but also underscored the vision behind the clubβs player pathway.
βThis marks a defining moment for our academy pathway and our commitment to developing players capable of competing at the highest levels,β said Cory Schleyer, Owner of Twin Rivers United. βSeeing a young player step up and deliver on this stage is exactly what weβve been building toward.β
Win Soccer Academy has been working in close collaboration with Twin Rivers United over the past six months, focusing on establishing a professional-style development environment. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating clear opportunities for young talent to progress from youth soccer into the senior ranks.
With both Premier and Division One teams competing in the UPSL, the addition of a structured youth academy represents the next step in the clubβs long-term visionβto build a complete player development model and elevate the standard of soccer in the Charlotte County and Southwest Florida region.
Last nightβs achievement stands as a powerful example of that vision in action.
