Due to viewing of the recent video of Capt. Brock Horner, we are saddened to see any captain represent themselves in this manner.

Black Pearl has not sponsored Capt. Brock for several years. While we are always appreciative of captains enjoying and advertising our product with their own pride, we will always be saddened to see any person or captain behave with such animosity toward another. Life is simply too short, we should be coming together to help each other not the opposite, despite our differences at the time.

We will pray for Brock and anyone that may be experiencing such emotional distress for them to allow themselves to get to that point. Life always throws us curve balls, this could have clearly been one that had a life threatening ending.

Boarding someone’s boat is a severe personal threat and should be treated no differently than someone that blasts through your front door of your home. People can be shot and killed unfortunately for simple self defense. Let’s take this as a huge win that no parties involved were hurt other than feelings and character mistakes exposed.

While we are not going to take sides on how this originally escalated during the nighttime incident, we will certainly be honored to offer a Free Black Pearl cast net to the kid involved to show our true support, more so as an act of good deed to prove our character in simple moral standards that many have forgotten in this crazy world.

God Bless us all and remember to always treat others the way that you would wish to be treated and everything falls right into place.
