Quit intermittent fasting just because you think you need it to lose weight.
You don’t need an 8-hour eating window.
You need a way of eating that controls calories, keeps you full, gives you enough protein, and is easy to repeat.
For a lot of people, I prefer something much simpler:
Eat 3–4 high-protein meals per day.
Get roughly 30–50g of protein at each meal depending on your needs.
Then wait 3–4 hours before eating again.
No handful of chips walking through the kitchen.
No “healthy” snack because you’re slightly bored.
No constantly picking at food between meals.
Just eat a real meal, get full, go live your life, and eat again when it’s time for the next one.
Intermittent fasting can absolutely work if you enjoy it. There’s nothing magical about avoiding it either.
The point is that meal timing is a tool—not the reason you lose fat.
For many people, structured meals and less mindless snacking are a much easier default.
Eat better. Stop grazing. Stay consistent.
