But there IS action. And you CAN make progress, even if you start small.

The best thing I hear my clients say after lifting a few weeks is not just how many pounds they’ve lost or how much better their clothes feel.
That’s great-but the BEST words I hear them say over and over again:
“I didn’t know strength could FEEL this good!”
They go on to say it is a feeling they have never experienced before and they didn’t know it was a thing.
😃 But they are happy.
🔥 They feel a LOT more confident.
💙Mindset begins to shift.
💪🏼They feel strong.
😍 It has improved their quality of life-mentally AND physically.
Feeling stronger than you were before in all ways?
That’s a God- given gift and ability.

I have opened a FEW personal training sessions for the ladies in my private Purcellville studio!
These are rarely offered anymore as most of my time is now spent coaching my ladies through semi-private training and online.
You may also purchase these sessions with a friend or two so that you can split the cost of the session.

Sessions are ONLY for the days provided below and ALL times are
7:30 am and are 45-minute sessions. I may be able to adjust the start time slightly, so just ask!

Whether you are a complete beginner that wants to get comfortable with basic strength training, learn all about using a barbell or kettlebells, or you have personal goals to reach, these sessions are the perfect opportunity to do it all while ensuring safety and good form.

Currently available at 7:30 am:
*Every Monday, Tuesday, Friday in July AND Thurs, July 22. You will also get the first opportunity to continue into August if desired.
*May be able to do some Wednesdays upon request.

I’ve put together 12 points below that help me to be successful
and take action.
Write your own actions down with pen and paper.
Use some of mine if you’d like.
Stop overthinking it.
This is your reminder that you just need to do it because YOU really do have that power. It's time to own it.
12 Actions I Use To Get Out Of A Rut and Create the Workout Habit:

1. I have a structured plan that WILL get me stronger. It is one that makes good use of my TIME and is not just a random workout. My time is valuable.
2. I set a timer and use that time productively -whether I have 10 minutes, 20 minutes, or an hour.
3. I prioritize workouts at the same time each day if possible. That way, no surprises or overthinking of WHEN I will be able to “fit it in.”
4. I go over the workout plan for 2-5 minutes the night before, so I know what to expect. I look over my log of last week’s lifts the night before (weight/reps/variations) and try to do a little bit better, that is, use Progressive Overload. Maybe even write in a rep # or load to aim for.
5. If I am going to be in a hurry the next day, I set out the equipment the day/night before so that I can save time.
6. I keep a TO DO notebook on the kitchen counter, always in my view.
I write “workout”-- and slash through it when it is done.
7. I aim to be in bed at a decent hour so that I do not feel defeated as soon as I wake up.
8. I drink coffee. Eat breakfast. Go workout. (My best habit/routine).
9. I make workout time as a no social media/texting time.
10. I have accountability. Ask someone to hold you accountable for getting your workout in. My husband is great this way because he knows I feel my best when I get a workout in. Please note that any person you ask to hold you accountable should not be there to SHAME you in any way. If so, find a new accountability partner.
11. Thank God that I CAN move and strengthen my body. That is a blessing.
12. Perspective: These (X number of minutes) to take care of myself are SUCH a small part of my day and week. I will be a more productive at EVERYTHING ELSE if I do this first.
