All right Fans and Friends. I have been avid believer in firearm safety and have been an instructor for a little while helping so many people ! With that and by requests, now I’m also able to get the products I have in Gear of the week to get you good quality stuff for less than the big box stores! Win-Win right ?
Well it’s been quite the year of account issues with FB. Gear of the week started off strong. I have had 4 posts that made it out. They dwindle dramatically every time. Last one was 28 people reached. I know right ? Say it ain’t so !

What content do you want to see on Gear of the Week or what suggestions do you have as a fellow entrepreneur to fight with the platform less? 😵‍💫😆😏

You guys are awesome and thank you for the support !

Gear of the week continues with:
Stock Sights vs Night Sights

We are Really Enjoying R3D by XS Sights.

There are lots of options for sights and we can help you upgrade and install them!
Have questions or just wanna see how they look first ?
Let’s meet and then pick a set for you!

Summary: Stock sights prioritize simplicity, zero extra cost, and no degradation. Night sights primarily solve the low-light visibility problem of traditional iron sights in a passive, reliable way, making them a frequent defensive upgrade, though they add cost and have a finite useful life due to tritium decay. Effectiveness depends on the pistol’s intended role, lighting environments expected, and whether a light is also carried. Personal preference for sight picture (e.g., three-dot vs. front-focused) and eye conditions also matter.

See a few examples and some more comparisons with the photos !

Gear of the week ! After discussing Red dots, lasers, and hearing protection, let’s move on to keeping your Gear Clean. We have been using Clenzoil products and have had fantastic results! If you need one, let me know !

Cleaning a pistol is essential for reliability, safety, accuracy, longevity, and overall performance.

Neglecting cleaning is one of the most common preventable causes of pistol problems. Consistent maintenance keeps the gun dependable and safe.

Manufacturer recommendations and your specific pistol’s design (e.g., striker-fired vs. hammer-fired, polymer vs. metal) should guide the exact procedure and lubricants. Always follow the owner’s manual, use appropriate solvents and tools, and ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction before any maintenance.

Red Dots vs Iron Sights
*Red dots allow for faster target acquisition and require aligning only one point.
(-Available in Green)
*Iron sights require aligning three points.

Feature: Red Dot Sights Iron Sights
Target Acquisition: Faster (1 point alignment) Slower (3 points alignment)
Ease of Use: Generally easier for beginners Requires more skill and practice
Focus: On the target On the front sight
Reliability: Dependent on battery Always reliable

Each has its advantages, but red dots are generally easier for beginners.
When choosing between red dots and iron sights, consider:
target acquirement and speed accuracy, environmental conditions (low light or bright), and personal preference. The cost and its use EDC vs Range or Competition, Red dots may offer advantages in speed and ease of use, while iron sights are often more affordable and reliable

Well day 1 is complete ! What a blast !
My Husky “ bag o’l holsters” was a hit!
Don’t waste money on gear that doesn’t work !!!! I’ve already done that and am happy to share my discoveries- no charge for the info😎
These are all decent holsters and belts, some didn’t work for my carry style, some are worn out, some just not comfortable. I won’t bash the companies but I’ll explain why they didn’t work for me and go from there !!! If I have something in this stack you’re interested in, let’s make a deal!!

More to come … thinking of something new like Gear of the week? Thoughts?
Thanks again !
