🌟 Where have I been? 🌟

I've been on an incredible journey as a β€œbodybuilder,” aka. becoming a mom! From battling morning sickness to enduring 30+ hours of labor, it's been a whirlwind. Social media took a backseat as I prioritized my health and our little one. But now, I'm back and ready to share the lessons I've learned on this amazing journey of motherhood. Stay hydrated my friends.

Some interesting facts of water:
πŸ’§ 55-60% of our body is water
πŸ’§ It lubricates and protects our joints
πŸ’§Average person needs to drink about 2L of water a day
πŸ’§ Helps regulate our body temp
πŸ’§ 165lb person lose about 25oz of water just from breathing in a day
πŸ’§ PMS bloat is due to our bodies holding on to more water than normal
πŸ’§ Drinking too much water can also have negative effects
πŸ’§ You can lose up to 2L of water in just one hour of working out

That instant regret of having some food that you were craving. It tasted so good, but now it feels like shame.

πŸ”ΉοΈStressful day ➑️ comfort food
πŸ”ΉοΈNo time to cook ➑️ fast food
πŸ”ΉοΈSo busy we haven't eating anything all day ➑️ over eat during dinner

These are "easy way out" solutions to common situations many of us face daily. This enables poor health habits for us in the long run.

To fight these poor habits, we tend to make ultimatums with ourselves and say "NEVER AGAIN!" and deep diving into the latest fad diets. Then life happens and you find yourself half-pint deep in some Ben and Jerrys. And the vicious cycle returns.

"Why does this happen to me?" you ask? The most common culprits are not having a meals planed out ahead of time, or even having TOO restrictive of a diet.

Is sleep the key to losing weight?

Good quality sleep helps us in
πŸ’€ Fat lose
πŸ’€ Muscle growth
πŸ’€ Regulates our hunger and appetite
πŸ’€ Regulates our hormones and emotions
πŸ’€ More energy throughout the day
πŸ’€ Ability to remember and learn better

Yet, a lot of us can't experiences all of these benefits when we can't get good quality sleep. So, how do we get better in bed? 😜

Get a pre-sleep ritual. Prepare your body to help it learn it is time for bed and reduce stress. This can look like dimming the lights, turning off electronics, journaling, deep breathing, yoga, and much more.

We need to stop letting fear prevent us from growth.

We like to stay in the place where it is cozy and there are no unexpected surprises. But deep down, you know you want more for yourself. And in order to see growth you are going to have to overcoming fear. You are going to have to make some room for growth.

Growth in...
🧑 Having a body you are proud of.
🧑 Enjoying a life where you are happy and confident.
🧑 Rocking that outfit you love.
🧑 Knowing diet doesn't mean restriction.

Weight loss isn't a magic pill or restrictive dieting.

It is:
β˜€οΈEating more whole foods
β˜€οΈEating less processed foods
β˜€οΈStaying consistent!!!

That is it. How many times have you tried a crazy diet or a lose weight quick scheme? It might have worked for a bit... but it is hard to stick with something when it doesn't fit your lifestyle. The setbacks of failed fad diets does not make us a failure. We are amazing successful women! I am here to guide you through your weight loss journey. Where you can enjoy foods and still lose weight.

What if I told you it only takes 5 minutes a day to reach your goal?​​​​​​​​

We often have this all or nothing mindset. That the only way to achieve our goals is to spend every waking minute in the gym and eat an all organic vegan free meal that cost more than gas and took two hours to make. When in actuality, five minutes a day towards your goal can make the most impact. ​​​​​​​​
