Sunday was a great day for our annual Tournament of Champions at Old North State Club as the weather was perfect and the golf course being in great condition with 15 clubs being represented. Congratulations to Raleigh Country Club as they defended their team championship shooting -12 under par... great playing.

In the individual divisions, Ryan Tyndall (The Reserve Golf Club) won the Men's Club Championship, Caroline Ellington (Raleigh Country Club) won the Women's Club Championship, Hunter Grove (Raleigh Country Club) won the Senior/Super Senior Championship and Dalton Rich (Brook Valley Country Club) won the Professional Championship.

Thank you to the staff and membership at Old North State Club for being such great hosts! We would also like to thank our friends at Club Car and Titleist for their continued support of this event.

Congratulations to the The Reserve Golf Club on holding off two-time defending champions Sedgefield Country Club and Raleigh Country Club to win this year's Men's Ryder Cup. This is their fourth victory, which puts them in second place for most wins all-time behind the The Cardinal by Pete Dye with five. We want to thank the staff and membership for being such great hosts, as it is greatly appreciated. Also, we want to recognize Brook Valley Country Club's Director of Golf, Dalton Rich, on making an ace on hole No. 12 during the final round. This is Dalton's 11th career hole-in-one.... great shot!

Weather was great for the second round of the Men's Ryder Cup which provided for great scoring conditions. The Reserve Golf Club was able to extend their lead over Raleigh Country Club, Sedgefield Country Club with Porters Neck Country Club and Treyburn Country Club playing well to move into the top 5. Today's final round should be entertaining with another day of great scoring conditions and look forward to crowning a champion later this afternoon.

The 18th Annual Men's Ryder Cup is underway at The Reserve Golf Club, with the host club leading after yesterday's first round, which was played in windy conditions. They lead Raleigh Country Club and Sedgefield Country Club by six points, with Wilson Country Club only nine points behind heading into today's second round. This year's event features 14 clubs and more than 35 plus handicap golfers—one of our strongest fields in recent years!
