Got married at 55. Just celebrated 7 years of marriage. It's quite extraordinary, when I think about it.. Prior to finally getting it right, I got in a whole lot of wrong. Two divorces. And a hunger that kept trying to get unavailable men to commit. I was broken, emerging from every failed attempt with more self-contempt. Why wasn't I enough? This question eluded me for most of my adult life until
something unexpected happened. I was talking to a man I was dating. He said that if things didn't work between us, he would be done with love. That's when something bigger than me stood up and said, "That's not going to be my story. Somebody's son is going to love me!"
And in the days leading up to my 50th, I kept hearing it saying, "I AINT GOING OUT LIKE THAT! I refuse to live all my life on this Earth not knowing what it feels like to be truly loved." The rest is history. A history of having a Divine vision to follow, not knowing how or when yet knowing there was no other option for me. I had to figure out why I was stuck in a cycle of Self Betrayal, Mistrust and Attracting Mr. I had to deprogram my attraction to unavailable men and reprogram an attraction to good, available ones. Learning to recognize the difference was key! It was painful to totally overhaul my belief system and remove the L.I.D.S. (Limitations, Ideologies, Disconnects, Stories) preventing me from having the love I desired. But I did it!! Because I did, you don't have to keep losing yourself in relationships. I been there. Done that. But most important of all, I came out with a roadmap you can follow. I guess you could say I'm your relationship GPS!! As your life coach and relationship solutionists, I help navigate you from other folks' definitions for love to your own. My system helps you to discover what makes you enough by amplifying 3 critical factors: your voice, your value and your vision. When you are empowered in these areas, you experience greater satisfaction in your life and in your relationships. It's all about aligning you with your Authentic Truth. No other path works. I tried them. I tried what other experts, gurus, and relationship authors said. I tried doing what they said but, even if it worked, it was only temporary. None of it helped me get down to what I really needed: evidence that I was worthy. Evidence that I was enough for a man to love me. Without that, I always feared losing him.
