Garden update: thriving… but under attack 😅
This week’s haul brought to you by grit, sweat… and a watering can because WHERE is the rain?! Plus, I had to do some tilling because the ground is sooo hard.
Despite the dry spell - she's holding it down. I've been harvesting lettuce and it's been salads, smoothies, kale chips all week!
BUT…
Something’s digging in my rows, and I’m pretty sure I’ve got a ground hornet situation…
Respectfully—eviction notices are being drafted as we speak. 🫡
Because what’s NOT happening?
Me being scared to step foot in the garden I put so much, sweat, and time into.

Left for Aruba with baby plants… came home to a garden flexing on me. The leafy Greens are ready to harvest!
The biggest surprise? White potatoes!
No clue what kind they are—just some pantry potatoes that started sprouting, so I cut them into a few pieces, tossed them in the dirt, and let nature do its thing.
Every. Single. Piece. Popped. Up.
My first time growing store-bought potatoes and they understood the assignment. From island vibes to harvest highs, the garden really said welcome home.

That's all folks! This wraps up my 2025 growing season! A simple but powerful takeaway from this season. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean things aren't moving, changing, or growing. Do the work - then, Be still, Be quiet, Be grateful, Let it all work out. 🙏🏾
