What a weekend.

After battling through rain/lightning delays and even having an entire day of games canceled, our girls never lost their focus. They fought their way through every challenge and earned their spot in the championship game.

Mother Nature had the final say, and the championship was called before first pitch, naming us co-champions of our bracket finishing with a 7-1 record on the weekend.

We’re incredibly proud of the resilience, toughness, and heart this team showed all weekend long. No matter the circumstances, these girls continued to compete for one another.

We wrapped up another competitive weekend playing against some talented teams and continued to see this group grow with every game. We’re proud of the way our girls competed all weekend long. 💙💛

WEEKEND RECAP 🇺🇸🥎

We had a great weekend celebrating the Fourth of July doing what we love. Our girls competed hard all weekend, battled through some tough games, and finished with a 4-2-1 record.

This weekend we were able to play one of our sister LLG teams. We also got to step away from the field for a little while to enjoy some arcade games and laser tag while celebrating our country’s 250th birthday. 🇺🇸

A few players had big moments this weekend:
💥 Ashlyn Petty hit a two-run home run in our 10-3 win against VA Glory National.
💥 Bella Huntingford added a solo home run against NC Challengers Premier.
🥎 Makenna Gray threw a complete-game shutout against LLG Shoope.
🥎 Ashlyn Petty and Hailey Cabrera combined for a shutout in our 5-0 win over Carolina Cardinals Red.

Really proud of the way this team competed from the first game to the last. They continue to play for each other and get better every weekend. Looking forward to getting back to work next week! 💙💛

In our third event of the summer, we competed in the Power Pool against some of the top competition and continued to show growth, fight, and determination throughout the weekend. 💙💛
