The Meredith Townes Mudpuppies are a team of approximately 140 standout swimmers from ages 4-18. Through their efforts, the Mudpuppies have won 5 consecutive division championships and have moved up 7 divisions in 6 years. This past season we were undefeated and moved up six positions in the rankings! We will face even greater competition this year; we welcome this challenge and invite you to join us!

With Ky-lee Perry's gold in the 50 freestyle, all six of our swimmers who represented Team USA are coming home from the World University Games with individual medals!
Ky-lee ties her lifetime best and team record of 25.08 to take home the win.

Calling all Guppies, Puppies and Big Dog Donors...please consider reaching out to your friends and colleagues who would be willing to sponsor our team this season with corporate donations in exchange for recognition on our team t-shirt and team website, and at our home meets.
Our team is a 501c3 non-profit and we rely greatly on donations to meet the equipment needs that are not covered by team dues alone.
If you are a company owner - or just the favorite employee of someone who is - we want your corporate sponsorship!
The deadline for having your company logo printed on our team t-shirts is May 15 so you must act fast.
If you also have connections to nearby restaurants and store owners who might be interested in boosting their retail profiles among hungry families that are in the neighborhood nearly every day of the week during summer, consider asking them to make the donation and our board will tell you where they can send those checks and logos!
Got the Townes pool message today for the summer sign ups. It’s $100 more than previous membership sessions. I know there is Reno for pool deck and pool itself. Any other benefits for our MP families? Guests are now $4/person. The extra $100 is a lot...just curious of others reactions.

With our increasing number of seniors we will now be featuring two a week!
Our TITANS swimmer for today’s is Alex Tomlinson!
Alex attends Apex Friendship High School. He swims for Coach Bruce, Coach JP, Coach Claire and Coach Blake in the TITANS National group. Alex started swimming at 8 years old. At first he started just to stay in shape for Rugby, but he continued to enjoy it and improved a lot. He eventually gave up rugby to focus on swimming! Alex’s favorite stroke is Backstroke and his favorite event is the 200 Back. His favorite part of swimming competitively is training, and more importantly, the people he trains with everyday. He says that he could not do this without them and it makes it easy to want to practice everyday. Alex’s role model is Coach Dennis. He demonstrated that hard work pays off inside and outside of the pool. He always came to practice and gave 100% and I try to do the same.
After graduating, Alex plans on swimming at East Carolina University and working as either a chiropractor or sports physician. His ultimate goal for swimming is to make NCAA in college and eventually represent England internationally!
Thank you Alex for your time as a TITAN! We can’t wait to see all the things you accomplish!

Wolfpack Dominates Home Opener, Sweeps Fourth Straight Dual Over Tar Heels - NC State University Athletics RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 6/9 NC State men's and women's swimming and diving teams made their return to dual competition in dominant fashion, picking up a pair of wins over visiting UNC-Chapel Hill Saturday afternoon at the Casey Aquatic Center.
