⚾️ 6 Games. 2 Days. Scorching Heat. 100% Heart. ⚾️

Wow, what a weekend for our 8U boys! To say they dug deep would be an understatement. They battled through a grueling schedule, playing 4 games on Sunday alone, under a blazing sun. Fuelled by determination (and an endless supply of oranges 🍊), they went 2-2 on that marathon day against some incredibly tough competition.

All that grit paid off with a Runner-Up finish in the Silver Bracket! 🏆

This was our final tournament playing Coach-Pitch, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to close out this chapter. We are so incredibly proud of how much these boys have grown.
Next up? We’re stepping it up! Our final tournament of the season will be 8U Kid-Pitch. It's a brand new challenge, but we know these boys are ready to step up to the plate.

🙏 A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing parents, family members, and fans. You kept the players, the feral siblings, and even the umpires hydrated, fed, and cheered on. We truly have the best dugout crew in the league!

We might not have gotten the specific outcomes we wanted on the scoreboard for today, but man, did these boys fight.

They faced off against two seriously tough teams, and they did it while battling some intense heat. The best part? Their confidence never wavered. Not once. They kept their heads up, supported each other, and kept grinding until the very last out. This team has so much heart, and we can’t wait to get back out there and do it all over again tomorrow! 💪

On a related note - If anyone happens to have a casual, industrial-sized outdoor air conditioner they can wheel over for tomorrow's games, that would be super... 🥵🍦

What a weekend for our boys! 🥈⚾️

They went 3-1 to wrap up the tournament with a massive second-place finish in the Gold Bracket! While it’s always tough to fall just short of that top spot, we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible heart and grit this team showed on the field.

It was an all-around solid weekend of great sportsmanship and teamwork. Heads high, boys—you earned this one! On to the next! 👏🔥

🚨 2-0 SaTWOsday… BUT WE AREN'T DONE YET! 🚨

Incredible job by each and every one of the kids today, they walked away with a spectacular 2-0 record for the day! The kids showed incredible teamwork, sportsmanship, and pure hustle from the very first pitch to the final out. While SaTWOsday was a massive success, the tournament isn't over.

Tomorrow, we hit the field again for Sunday elimination. We know the competition will be tough, but this team is ready to come back and fight for every single run. Let's go finish the job! ⚾️
